Other than independent Turkic nations such as Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan; there are many other endangered Turkic peoples who live in Russian, Chinese, Persian and Balkan states under persecution, oppression, torture (see: Uyghurs in China, Crimean Tatars under Russian occupation etc.). Their culture, their languages, their dialects are subjects to ongoing heavy assimilation or integration policies and under a threat of extinction, around Eurasia.
