Download[github.com] the app for your platform (Windows, Linux, macOS, Steam Deck are supported).

Press Auto-detect to automatically load your save file

If the automatic lookup fails for some reason, open the file manually

Use the altars in the given order. The number belonging to each altar is in the image below.
Using an online HEX editor

Navigate to http://hexed.it

Open your save file player.dat You can find your saves on the following paths:

Windows
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Infinite Fall\Night in the Woods\
macOS
/Users/YOURUSERNAME/Library/Application Support/Infinite Fall/Night in the Woods/
SteamOS
/home/deck/.config/unity3d/Infinite Fall/Night in the Woods/

Search the file for "altar". You will find 4 values: demontower_altar_code_X, where X = 0,1,2,3.

Highlight the character following the number (X). Write down the 32-bit floating point value from the Data Inspector pane. Repeat for each of the altars.

Use the altars in the order you received in the previous step according to this key:
