Hey, everyone! I had a ton of fun making my Superstars guide last year, and I've been REALLY looking forward to this game, so... I wanted to make a Guide for this game too! Just like before, please feel free to comment and leave suggestions and feedback, or maybe some additional info I missed! Anything to help make the guide be more helpful for readers and players.

While you CAN just follow a Guide for the achievements of the original game, as all of the ones here except for one are present in the original, there's no harm in being thorough! If you wanna get to the juicy new stuff with Shadow Generations, then it has it's own section in the Guide, of course.

These are the achievements you'll obtain by just playing through the game's story. If you for whatever reason don't want to know the stages and bosses, then I suggest you look away!


GREEN HILL Restored!
Restore the GREEN HILL Stage Gate.


CHEMICAL PLANT Restored!
Restore the CHEMICAL PLANT Stage Gate.


SKY SANCTUARY Restored!
Restore the SKY SANCTUARY Stage Gate.


Scrap Metal
Defeat Metal Sonic.


Sunny Side Up
Defeat Death Egg Robot.


SPEED HIGHWAY Restored!

Sonic Generations: Mission Accomplished!
Clear all the Challenge Acts in Sonic Generations.


Red Ring Collector
Get all Red Star Rings.

If you're missing a Red Star Ring in an Act, you can talk to the character right next to the stage for a hint.


Rescue Professional
Rescue all Chao.

The only new achievement added to Sonic Generations is tied to the brand new collectables in this remaster - the Chao. In the game's Collection Room, the Chao Rescue section has hints on where to find each Chao, with there being 3 of them in each Act.


Mad Skillz
Get all Skills.

As the achievement icon would suggest, you need to go to Omochao's Skill Shop (to the left of Green Hill) and purchase all of the skills he has on offer. Some skills unlock in the Shop after completing certain Challenge Acts, and some skills you immediately obtain in your skill inventory upon getting all 5 Red Star Rings in an Act.


Can't Touch This
Take no damage from the final boss and clear the stage in Sonic Generations.

Personally, I'd recommend always staying as Modern Sonic, and shooting Classic Sonic off to destroy rubble every now and then. Be careful not to run into any of it, the walls, and of course the attacks themselves and you should be fine, as everything is fairly simple to dodge.


Sonic Generations: (Hedge)Hogging It All Up!
Get all collectibles in Sonic Generations.

In other words, 100% the entire game, outside of buying all the skills.

These are the achievements you'll obtain as you clear the game's story, just like Sonic Generations. If you don't want to know the stages and bosses - I suggest you look away!

Vanquished Biolizard
Defeat Biolizard.


KINGDOM VALLEY Restored!
Restore the KINGDOM VALLEY Stage Gate.

Restore the SUNSET HEIGHTS Stage Gate.


Vanquished Metal Overlord
Defeat Metal Overlord.

Get Rank S in all Acts in Shadow Generations.

Just like Sonic Generations, you don't have to get all the S Ranks on the Bosses, or Challenge Acts - just the main Acts of every Zone. Additionally, you don't need to get both of the S Ranks for if you have Doom Wing On or Off. Just one or the other is enough.


Shadow Generations: Mission Accomplished!
Clear all the Challenge Acts in Shadow Generations.

Disclaimer: During Early Access, some acts had a chance to not register as complete for the achievement. I'm unsure if this has carried over to the full release, as it seems to be fine now, but you should still keep this in mind.
After clearing the main story, you'll unlock the "Doom Zone" variant of White Space, which contains 2 additional Challenge Acts per Zone, one per Act.


All Collection Boxes Collected!
Open all Collection Boxes in White Space.

As the achievement icon would suggest, the Collection Boxes refer to the blue, yellow and green chests you can find throughout White Space. To open one, you need a Collection Key of the same color/type, which you can find 3 of in every Act and main Challenge Act. There are two Collection Boxes that can only be found in the "Doom Zone" variant of White Space.

Rocket has been completed...?
Deliver all the rocket parts to Orbot and Cubot.

There are 80 total rocket parts, or "machine parts" as they're called in-game, and they're scattered all over White Space. They aren't particularly difficult to find, as they have a distinct glow aura to them, and are, usually, out in the open, meaning you can find most, if not all of them by just looking around if you're curious enough. Untouchable
Take no damage from the final boss and clear the stage in Shadow Generations.

Despite Devil Doom and Neo Devil Doom having different names, they are both one boss, meaning you have to do both damageless for the achievement.


Shadow Generations: (Hedge)Hogging It All Up!
Get all collectibles in Shadow Generations.

Some collectables are tied to the Open Zone challenges in White Space, which glow purple or red in the in-game map if not completed. There are also a couple of Gerald's Journal pages that are exclusive to the "Doom Zone" variant of White Space. Other than this, the achievement is pretty straight forward if you're going for the others already.
Notably, this achievement doesn't necessarily mean 100%, unlike Sonic Generations' version of this achievement.
