Ha Ha, same here. I decided to go for another round of Grimrock II and was very disappointed that this site is no longer compatible with Google Maps... a real shame. I used this site years ago.

Looks like the Google maps integration is broken. Not surprising, it's 6 years old.

I like this map very much, I use in almost every playthrough, but there are still some stuff thats wrong or missing.
Few examples:
Spirit Mirror pendant is listed as shield.
In Ruins of desarune southern part, in crab chamber, map shows lockpick and tome of earth, which actually isn't there.
Almost half of the herbs found in Keelbeach Bog is't listed on the map.

Layers: there is subcategories on each layer, just click on the "brown triangle" in front of layer Name or on the layer Name text to UNPACK the sub-layers.
I am sorry for not very representative icon - triangle, plus/minus characters will be better...
