"Another model that I intended on finishing so much sooner (no thanks to having to swap to Quixel... thanks Adobe you doodoo heads 😝). Obviously, made this because I saw Godzilla Minus One and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ loved it. I really dug how the movie took him back to being a malicious bastard; really reminded me of other banger films like GMK. Another aspect that I obviously appreciate though was how the design was essentially the Universal Ride version of the character but with the Heisei era aspects on overdrive (bro never skips leg day). But with all that being said, my favorite aspect of the film (aside from Godzilla going burrr) was how human the film was which is something I always felt like was extremely lacking during Shin Godzilla and the poopoo Godzilla anime trilogy. Would this be my favorite Godzilla movie? Not sure. Is it in my top 5? Hell yeah. Here’s to hoping that if they ever make a sequel, Toho finally gets the balls to have Godzilla fight other kaiju again.

For this model, I definitely tried to remain faithful to the look but I took some liberties (for better or worse) such as lengthening the tail and making the arms a tad beefier.
