This guide will show you how you can easily achieve the following achievement without needing additional upgrades, luck or looking for other people to boost you.

"Death From Above"
In Multiplayer, destroy 5 manned stationary weapons with a Airplane.

1. It offers up to 6 pilot seats if your team conquers point C.
   This gives you a greater chance of getting on a plane in the first place.
   
   
2. The map also features many mountains that break the line of sight -
   either good for recovery and repair or to approach the stationary weapon unseen.
   
   
3. The snow makes it easier to see which stationary weapon is manned and which is not on the overall map - where you are waiting to deploy.

Fjell 652 has 8 stationary weapons that you need to watch out for. If you are waiting for a plane to spawn, you can already take a look at these points to find out if they are already manned and plan your attack in advance:

This plane will unlock at level 7 and carries 4x 500lb bombs, which you will use to destroy the stationary weapons.





This plane will unlock at level 8 and carries 4x 250kg bombs, which you will use to destroy the stationary weapons.

The first thing you do, when you enter your plane is to equip your secondary weapon (The bombs). You will notice that your crosshair will change to a circular sign below your plane and indicates where the bombs will land.

I prefered to fly in third person, which you can access through pressing "C" - this way you have a broader overview of the battlefield and the next step of our attack will be much easier:

THE DIVE.

Dive-bombing is the best way to align your plane, the stationary weapon and the bombs you are throwing - it will more often than not result in you dying, but it will still count as a kill towards the achievement.

How does it work?

As in the picture below, select your target and fly down on the stationary weapon from a higher vantage point - you'll see that the circular sign for your bombs will line up with your plane, making it easier to aim.

Don't worry about getting shot - if you've dropped the bombs before you die, you can be sure that the person on the stationary weapon will die too.

After a successful dive, you will see on your screen that you have scored a kill and the text “Stationary weapon destroyed” appears - this way you know if you have been successful. :)

You get used to this approach quite quickly and may only dive one stationary weapon per plane, but it worked wonderfully!

It is best if you are on the losing side of the match and your opponent has already occupied most of the map. This increases the chance that players will use stationary weapons in the match.


Aim for these symbols in the sky and fly through them to resupply your bombs, if you didnt die.
