Wow, nice shot! I'm never able to keep things in the sky. I can't even fly a kite. But, yeah, this is a fantastic shot! :104:

@ SaxonRaider
No, unfortunately not. But York is definitely on the list. And Wales, too, of course. There are just so many interesting places - and too few days off. ;-)

Sounds awesome, one day i will go for a Germany tour. I take it you have been to York? thats a great place to visit. Wales can be nice in places too, you might like the Rhondda Valley, and Black Mountains area. Beautiful landscapes and castles around there. Just above Cardiff, which i hear is quite a nice city to visit.

And yes, the Dresdner Building is still there. :-D

Frankfurt is only an hour away of my home. Not the most beautiful city in Germany, I have to say. ;-) The old part of the city has some good old Gaststätten (Pubs) though.

If you also interested history, architecture, culture etc. the region where I live (Spessart, Rhön, Vogelsberg) is a beautiful place to visit. A lot of old castles, a lot of wilderness and nature - and also good food and beer. The fairy tales of Brothers Grimm, who lived here, are largely inspired by the area. And if you need a guide - just send me a message. The first three pints are on me. ;-)

Old England with its country side, the many remnants of the Middle Ages and the old streets - that fascinates us (even our two kids) again and again. Next year it will probably be a short tour. First Devon, then Cornwall. And then, as a passionate whiskey drinker, I want to go to Scotland again.

Jürgen-Ponto-Platz in Franfurt, just found it on the map, seems the Dresdner building is still there. :D

yeah Whitstable was a good choice. haha, theres some interesting places to go here, such rich history. Also would love to go Germany someday, I have only ever been once, to Frankfurt on business, so no time to sight-see. but i did see the 26th floor of what was the Dresdner bank tower lol.

Seven Sisters is a famous cliff near Eastbourne with a very special view along the coast.

We went to Kent two years ago, our HQ was a cottage in Whitstable. And we also visited Rochester Cathedral, were we played Minigolf outside the building (seemed to be a special event) and had our lunch in the crypt. Unfortunately there was no time left for the Chatham Docks. So something left for the next time. ;-)

This year will be our 4. vacation (Devon, Kent, Oxfordshire and now East Sussex) England. We really fall in love with your beautiful country.

And thx again, mate!
