It should be used with a controller.

It's a bit slower, but much more controllable in the air.

The right Settings:
-Orbit camera with mouse: off
-Air control on Numpad: On

The Controls:
-Pitch and Roll: Right Stick
-Yaw: Left Stick
-Power: Right Trigger (Standard forward: W)
