well I don't work on jets and I don't really look at names on things. I just called them LED strips because that's what I'm used to saying.

I second this, plus they looked cool so I kept them and were pretty useful in marking my position. In newer posts relating to the Phantom (although the newer one has no promo image yet, or at least on steam) the paint is gray and looks better with the indicator formation lights.

they arent LED strips, its called formation lights.

I might make some with different color / payloads. Idk tho

Desert Storm camo (which was mainly what I was going for) is predominantly different shades of brown, but I can kinda see what you mean. I'll probably make it like light grey or smt before I upload it

imo i don't recommend having the LED strips on the tail. the jet looks really good but it also looks more of like a stealthy, fast jet. Having the LED strips makes sense for more modern jets, or change your paint job to a modern paint job. It makes sense for it.
