oh no - in the beginning for me it was hard to make scences together but now it goes well.
In the beginning you make a scence together (but you must put all the persons in the scene beforehand) and you can make screenshots.

But before you can make another new scence - you must clear and reset all emotions in the pupetear window (this is the little one who you can control your and the body of the other person or thrall)

And - when you play with another person , like me and my wife, than you must set the settings right: So all persons, who you wanna start a scene with, must put the setting on and allow the partner scences.
Than it should go
