I can explain. So I was watching Radiation Hazard (peak channel by the way) and I was reminiscing on Cinematic Mod. Coincidentally, I came across his videos on Cinematic Mod, specifically one about Build 2046 where there was an attempt at combiningCinematic Mod with the Half-Life 2 Leak 2002 era. It was a match I never thought of in my life, and honestly sounded like something from the 7th circle of Hell. But it intrigued me so much. The beta already had its own ""cinematic"" style imo and putting those two together sounded like... well it was SOMETHING but I wouldn't say its good lol.

I dug around my laptop, found my folder of HL2 Beta VMF's, and the next three hours working on this was the most painful, most grueling mapping process I ever had to go through. Far worse than International Mall, far worse than any school exam. Completely wiping Air Exchange of the things that made it Air Ex felt like beating it up, throwing it on the ground and shooting it in the head three times. I was actually screaming.

I'm likely never going to make something like this EVER again, unless there is extremely high demand for it, or if I just hate myself again.
