Bonelab has its moments but feels like a husk of something that could of been. It has a base foundation to be something just as if not better than Boneworks but something I cant quite describe is missing. Something important. I beat the whole game yet feel like I havnt scratched the surface.
The main campaign fell apart when the minigames showed up and was given the dev tools to basically spawn and do whatever I want. The ending felt bitter sweet and it teased some sort of meta event with the melon team. Or rather something big was about to happen. Yet we get dropped off in a white void similar to Gman to Gordon without answers. Left to our own devices.
And out of all the people, it had to be Stress Level Zero, or Brendon from FREDDIEW'S channel, I mean hell even Jimmy Wong is part of the dev team. feels like my childhood friends became scammers.
I hope that a major content update will revive this game, also crossing my fingers that the loading screens get dramatically reduced. Standing around in VR Hell while the game loads killed it for me among the lack of real content.
