By Nameless
Want to get those coliseum weapons/equipments but are tired of falling off in the Breakout GP or missing tiger drops in the Maximum GP?
Then I have the perfect easy grinding method for you where you can get ~70k points per battle.
NOTE: This is a method for people who are going for 100% and/or have done the Climax Battles

Intro
After seeing that I need 100 weapons and 70 equipments to reach 100% Completion and seeing the horrendous price of some of the coliseum rewards I knew I had to grind.

So ofc I quickly searched for the most efficient method to grind out points in the coliseum.
What I found was either a variation of "just do Breakout GP its rly fast" or "git good at Tiger Drop and farm Maximum GP to gain 30-40k each battle".

Now while I think Breakout GP is good for when you don't have Tiger Drop yet and I am not bad at tiger dropping my opponents, both those methods required more focus than I wanted to use.
Luckily for me I stumbled on some delicious cheese which I haven't seen talked about before so I thought I might aswell write this. (tbh I have not searched for long and I would be surprised if I was the first person to use this method but some of you might find it usefull).

DISCLAIMER: This method is only helpfull if you want to do all archivements amyway or if you have done or are planning to do the climax battles (yes all of them). If you don't want to do them you probably need to "git good at Tiger Drop and farm Maximum GP to gain 30-40k each battle".
Prerequisites
The things you need:

1. You have finished the game and have acces to Premium Adventure and thus also have acces to Climax Battles.
    Pretty self explanatory

2. You have all Dragon Abilities.

You actually don't need all but if you have all then you are good to go.You need: Komaki Tiger Drop and Essence of Sumo Slapping. Yellow Dragon Spirit isn't needed but gives you room for error. Also every Heat and Damage up Ability is very helpful but since you are looking for a guide to grind I expect you to have all abilities anyway.

3. You have beaten all Climax Battles.

4. Get the Dojima Family Amulet and the War God Talisman from Bob (the clown)

If Bob doesn't have the Climax Battle items you also have to do this: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Go to Serena and make a new Clear Save. Then start a new Premium Adventure with said Clear Save. Boom Bob now has the Climax Battle Items.

The Method
Alright now that you have everything you need heres what you do.

Equip the War God Talisman and the Dojima Family Amulet and go to the coliseum.
Now you are going to enter the Maximum GP. You will notice that your Heat will continue to grow so all you have to do is:
Keep your distance.
Tiger Drop or dodge the attacks and wait for you to be able to use Essence of Sumo Slapping.
Sumo Slapp the ♥♥♥♥ out of your opponent.
Repeat.

Thats it thats all you need to do, since your Heat Action usually will be ready again when the enemy stands up again, you can just lock them in that "combo".

This way you will get 20K Points for winning all 3 Rounds, the 100 Points for S Rank, 10K Points for the total time (since Time is stopped during Heat Actions) and 3x 10K Points for 3 Perfect Rounds.

Adding to that will be 1000 Points for every Heat Action you performed and 3000 Points for every Crowd Pleaser.

I was able to use this way very consistent even while I was watching Youtube on my second screen and it got me the points I needed pretty fast.
You usually get around 71-73K points per Battle and if you are lucky with the Crowd Pleasers, sometimes more than 80K.
Tips and Tricks for Minmaxing
Obviously you don't want your HP to drop since that would mean to miss out on 10K points but you don't have to be that scared of getting hit. A "Perfect Round" doesn't mean that you didn't get hit, it just means that you are at full HP at the end of it. So if you miss a Tiger Drop or Hanya Man jumps in your face, it's not the end of the world. If the enemy didn't hit you with to much damage you can get the HP back with your Heat Actions if you have Yellow Dragon Spirit.

Crowd Pleasers are also very nice to get a couple of extra points. The Heat Action one is super free since thats what you are spamming anyway and I think you can always get away with a Taunt when the enemy is on the ground. I usually ignore the Grab & Throw or the Block one and with the Counter move you can use Tiger Drop. (I would suggest going for that when the enemy happens to use move you are confident to TIger Drop since its not worth to go for 3000 Points when that means you have a chance of losing 10K).

Against enemies that are a bit more tanky like Masami Onitake(Gasmask Dude) or Shinichi Shinohara (Judo Guy) you might want to consider filling your Heat Bar full for the first Heat Action so it deals more damage. Since after your first Heat Action the others won't deal as much damage and you need a few until they drop dead. However you are getting 1000 Points per Heat Action.
You might be wanting to use Tiger Drops in those fights in order to speed them up. If you feel confident then sure go for it but in my oppinion its not worth it to risk getting hit by those two, since its usually not possible to recover the Hp lost when the Gasmask Dude just Powerarmors your Tiger Drop and hits you with his second or third attack.

Tiger drop can be very usefull against the other opponents tho since you knock them away, fill your Heat and can instantly chain that into your Sumo Slap. Very nice to deal with Hanya-Man when he enters Heat Mode for example since if you have the distance he will instantly jump on you with the kick move. Tiger Drop that and Sumo Slap him and if that didn't finish him offand he is at least almost dead.

Lastly your Heavy Attack kick when the enemy is lying on the floor often deals more damage than you would think, since we are using the Dojima Family Amulet. So you can use that to finish alot of oponents off if they are low on HP. Against some opponents (i.e. Gasmask Dude) you can also hit that move twice.
Thats it.
Thanks for reading.
I hope it could help some of you easing the pain which is the Coliseum Grind.
Here is an example run I recorded:

Hope you have a nice day.

Thank you for sharing this! It worked perfectly and saved me a lot of time grinding out for the last equipment I needed.

During my progress, I mostly did not use the Tiger Drop (except Hannya-Man) nor the stomp attack to finish the rounds quicker. Using only heat moves, it accumulated more points in the end and I had less tournament rounds to complete overall. I average between 75k - 90k, and the most I got from a lucky crowd pleaser was 104k.

Watamelon! Interesting tips, having free heat definitely helps rather than trying to farm it by guarding/evading etc.

Great guide, I kinda just assumed equipment wouldn't work in the coliseum so I didnt think to use war god talisman. I tried this a couple of times and it works really well, I was worried about grinding the coliseum but now I realize it won't take too long.
