It is unclear whether there are more than 27 biomes, but it took me a while to find all of them.

Here is a reference list of all biomes, ordered by number:

Which ones did you miss? Well here is how you can find out:

1. In Windows Explorer, navigate to your documents
   
2. Go to >>Sightseer>>Worlds>>[YOUR GAME NAME HERE]>>Players, where your game name is in the appropriate spot.
   
3. Edit the file in a text editor (I like Notepad++)
   
4. Search for "Biomes"
   
5. Copy the rest of the line and parse it out to make it an easy to read list
   
6. Compare against the list above

At the time of this writing, I have only 1 achievement left: The 0.01%. I probably won't add anything further to this guide, since everything else seems to be easily found except for this list. Well, it may be too, but I couldn't be bothered to check.
