Having nostalgia for the old main menu background? This guide will tell you how to bring old backgrounds back.
Unfortunately, some of the backgrounds have been removed from the files and there is no way to restore them.

Explaining the process

All you need to do is add one launch option to the game.
Go to your Steam library, right click on Overwatch and select "Properties..."

Add this line to the launch options

--lobbyMap=<Background ID>

In this example, I set my main menu background to the one with the Genji Cyberdemon skin, because 0x0800000000000F12 is its Background ID.

This also works in the Battlenet version of the game

Choose Overwatch 2 in your Battlenet library, click the gear icon next to the Play button, and select "Game Settings"

Now, click on the "Additional command line arguments" and paste in the desired code

This guide will list all known Background IDs with the images of how they look

If by the "korean girl one" you mean the Le Sserafim Collab one then yeah it was deleted, check the list of deleted backgrounds.

You can also add --tank_Console to the launch arguments. When you're in game, pressing Alt and ~ will show you the debug console, which shows the current background code.

Datawatch discord server made a tool that allows you to export game data including map UIDs.
Overwatch uses maps as main menu backgrounds. The codes from this guide are map UIDs
