In the early days of the game's lifespan, someone began to spread rumors about a hidden sixth animatronic named "Sparky the Dog". Sure enough, screenshots began to crop up on Tumblr. Reportedly, Sparky the one-armed dog was non-violent and would never attack the player, only appearing occasionally in the Backstage doorway. However, it was eventually revealed as a hoax by his creators, Tumblr users kodiabear and nguyen, with all of the screenshots being Photoshopped. Basically, this dog animatronic does not exist. He is made up, but was well edited in the image below. You can clearly see that the creator used Freddy’s body, and most likely Foxy’s exposed foot and hand. He also ended up appearing in an annyversary video called "7 Years Of FNaF's Amazing Fanbase" back in 2021. that was for long the last we heard or seen from Sparky, thats where the Sparky era ended. However, he made a surprise appearance in the Five Nights at Freddy’s Movie. Ironically enough, this appearance took place back stage, where the hoax originally began. In October 2023, the Five Nights at Freddy's movie released and in the Parts & Service room, a Sparky the Dog suit could be seen laying on the ground. And there is a diner in the film named "Sparky's Diner".

Honestly, my former friend claiming ownership of Sparky is what annoyed me into making this post. There's no real drama between us - we didn't fall out so much as simply drift into separate friend groups - but I want to specify that I came up with the idea for Sparky, I made the initial posts about him, drew his initial designs, planted the seeds for him being real, defended myself for days on tumblr, I even went to other websites and posted fake proof for me to then crosspost as evidence. The big stickler to the hoax was that I had no screenshots, which I excused away for as long as I could until my friend offered to fake one for me. The Sparky painting she did is what became the official image for Sparky, since me changing urls lost my side of the story to time, and I don't fault her for wanting recognition since it was her art that became the prevailing 'Sparky' that spread across the internet. But Sparky was mine first, and I'm very fond of him and amazed that he has continued to be relevant for so long.

I have been in and out of the FNAF fandom for several years, the last game I was fully invested in was probably FNAF World but I've kept tabs on stuff out of curiosity. I get recommendations for FNAF videos on Youtube sometimes and rarely, Sparky comes up and gives me a fresh wave of nostalgia and awe that he's still floating around.

Sparky Fake

The next misconception was that the pizzeria existed in real life, I'm talking about those instances where images of different pizzerias said ''Freddy Fazbear Pizza''. In the poster for fnaf 4 you could find the data of this pizzeria (Photo attached above) the numbers 87 and the name Mike, it went so far that people often called there and asked about the game, Scott almost had a scandal with the owner of this pizzeria. So he decided to clean it up later

There is a number online, and if you call it, you can reach Freddy Fazber Pizza. It's actually a fake. I'm not going to leave the number because if you call it, you'll be charged to your account

You can also find videos of performances, of real animatronics. I even found a video

Fnaf 2 became the most popular fake game as it had a lot of room for fantasy. Which allows you to fulfill all your fantasies. One of them was that if you flipped the trailer backwards, you could hear "Mike the killer everything". I've attached two videos below to give you an idea of what I mean.

It was also popular that if you listen closely to the animatronics scream. You can hear the word freddom. But that's a lie, too.

Fnaf 2 had a lot of fake related to repainted characters. For example, gold animatronics

It was also common fake to see toys with white dots as eyes in the office and puppets in TVs. I've attached an image

And then there's my favorite. It's a purple animatronic, as you know from my work, it's my favorite character. But alas, he's gone. This animatronnik performed in the form of a purple man, he was very popular, about him was made, a lot of art. He even has his own model in SFM, I'll try to attach a screenshot and video below.

Trailer for the 3rd installment of the game, fans thought the third installment was walkable, this trailer came out, but it's just fan work. I decided to add it here since so many people thought it was the real part 3

before the third installment came out, cat characters became popular online. Their names were Candy and Cindy, Penguin. Later, the author of these characters took offense at the fans and made his own game called Five nights at Candy

A fan version of Fredbear based on the Springtrap poster, the author mirrored the poster with him and got the bear and there was even a fan game Five Nights at Freddy's: Fredbear based on it.

Since there is no Phantom Bonnie in Part 3, fans made one. Rumor has it that he appears in camera 05 in the arcade and immediately attacks the player, but it's fake

In conclusion I would like to say that fake is not good. But in fnaf it played a big role, gave people like me warm nostalgic memories of those bright times. About which we will remember and will not understand, those who came to the game recently, most of them have been deleted. I've seen a lot of interesting knockoffs. But I couldn't find them, and some of them just didn't have information on them
