How to win consistently at MTG Arena
By Messigno
In this guide, I will help you win all your MTG Arena games. No hack, No cheating, just plain old RNG and deck building.
Step 1: Play 2 games of ranked. You have now seen all the meta cards in standard.
Step 2: Apply for a credit card under your dog's name.
Step 3: Max out that credit card and throw it at your screen because you are a bad dog parent.
Step 4: Use the wildcards you gained destroying Fido's credit score on all those tired ass cards that have been in the meta for a year.
Step 5: You are now unicum. Rope your way to diamond or whatever that glorious rank is. Who cares?

You now know how to stay friendless.

Im honestly done with this game. I have made it into Mythic twice with decks I crafted myself. I never thought I would see MTG turn in hearthstone online... its disgusting... Every deck you play against is some trash turn 3 or 4 win. As soon as you get into plat you are constantly matched against hard counters to whatever deck you play.. doesnt matter if you switch. Until they fix this BS I am not spending money on this crap anymore.

We can't you build a meta deck with the WC you earn at the start of the game? Mono red is piss easy to build and could get u to high rank easy. no CC required.

Man, my guy.

Apart from being incredibly salty, this is (For anyone thinking this is remotely true) really wrong, having played this with my buddies, none of us have spent a dime and are both separately in high-tier ranked.

Firstly there are a TON of free codes around for wildcards, I was able to make up 2 separate decks with wildcards alone and so was he. These decks carried us into the mid-ranks where we learned the decent cards and figured it out.

Yes there is "A Meta" to a degree, ultimately luck and skill has to come into any TCG though, you can have a "Meta Deck" but be a bad player with bad luck which will scew the odds. I have what's considered an edited version of the Red-Blitz deck and I lost two times in a row due to having bad starting hands and opponents who were higher than me in rank. Hell one of them literally had a slightly different deck to mine and just pulled better while I misplayed as I got flustered.
