100% Pets Hotel Achievement Guide

Hello! Welcome to my second achievement guide ever. Here, I will do my best to help you get every achievement the game has to offer. There are 47 in total and they're all relatively easy. But this guide is here to help if you're having trouble with any of them. Feel free to put your methods and suggestions in the comments.

If this doesn't pop when you play the tutorial, try making a new save with one of the preset houses, take in a pet in and it should go off right away.
"Petting"
"Stroke the pet"


Self explanatory! Select "pet" while interacting with any animal.
"Cleaner"
"First bath"

For this you'll need to either buy a tub or use one in a preset hotel. Only dogs can be given baths, and you'll need to buy some shampoo to do so.
"Dirty Work"
"Clean up the poop"

Dogs will eventually poop on the floor of their room if their poop need gets high enough, but you can speed this up by taking them outside.
(I believe dogs will also poop more often in their rooms if you miss taking them outside on time, too many times in a row, so avoid that if you can..)
"A helping hand"
"Hire an employee"
First, you'll need a management desk. Next, use the laptop on the management desk and go to the "Ads" tab. Set up an announcement for a job offer. It doesn't matter what kind of employee, either will do. Then, the next in-game day, people will come to the hotel to apply for the job, leaving their resume on your desk. Click the resume to hire them.
"A friend of animals"
"In your hotel, there are all kinds of animals"


Take in one of each kind of pet. A cat, a dog, a fish, a turtle and a rabbit.
"Full time"
"Work the whole day without skipping a day"

Once again self explanatory.
Every day ends at 22:00 sharp so just wait or work in your hotel until that time.
"Lots of cash"
"Get $500,000"
This can take a WHILE.
But just get a decent amount of places for either one kind of pet, or multiple. I find a mix of all pets to be the most profitable. And remember, you only get paid when returning the pet to their owner, and bills are paid every 7 days.
"Bummer"
"Get the first bad opinion"

Return a pet in bad condition, and/or take a long time to return a pet to their owner, and they will leave a bad review of your hotel.
"Give!"
"The dog brings you a ball"

Buy a ball from the toys section of the shop, then play fetch with a dog. Once the dog has the ball, walk into the dog to get it back.
"That is just the beginning"
"Your hotel has been operating for 10 days"

Skip time for 10 days, or just wait it out while playing the game normally and you'll get this in no time. If you do the time skip, just start a new game on an empty lot and skip 10 days in a row. This will count progress toward the 50 and 100 day achievements as well.
"Don't crack"
"Play 10 times with the fish in bubbles"

Get a few fish or just one, and play the bubble mini-game with them 10 times. It has to be 10 different times, so the amount of bubbles you dodge doesn't matter.
"Super petting"
"Stroke 50 pets"

Unsure if this works for petting one animal 50 times since that would take forever, but you can just get this by accident from petting every pet you get.
"Ouch!"
"Badly cut nail/claw"
Make sure you have a nail trimming station, and take a cat or dog to it. Then, cut the nail on the quick. (That little inner fleshy bit of the nail, on the left of the screen.) Try to do this on a pet that doesn't need its nails cut, because cutting a nail wrong will make it so you can't trim that pet's nails until the next day.
"Bad karma"
"You have given the pet food that it is allergic to"

Pay attention to each dog and/or cat you take in. Sometimes they'll have a food allergy. Once you get a pet with one of those allergies, give them the food they're allergic to.
"High-five"
"Return 5 guests in good condition in a row"

This can be done best and cheapest with fish.
Have 5 fish tanks, take in 5 fish and return them in the best condition you can.
"From treat to treat"
"Play 10 times with the turtle in a race for food"

Play 10 different times with one turtle or multiple turtles. Like the fish bubbles, it doesn't matter how many dots you eat, just how many times you clicked play with a turtle.
"What a week"
"Work 7 days in a row without skipping a day"


It takes a while to get this due to not being able to skip days.
"Be vigilant"
"Play 10 times with the cat using feathers on a stick"

Play 10 different times with one cat or multiple cats.
You'll need to buy "feathers on a stick" to do this.
"Expansion"
"Buy land"

Use the "expand terrain mode" under the "building" menu and buy one of the empty spots around your hotel.
"That was fast"
"Wash the dog in less than 45 seconds"

Tricky, but doable. Ironically, I got it by complete accident after failing to get it on purpose a couple of times. Make sure you have extra shampoo to save yourself some trouble, if you're trying to washing the same dog a bunch of times in a row.
"Nitpicking"
"Dig 30 holes"

The achievement description is deceptive on this one. You can't literally dig holes, but you fill in holes dug by dogs. Take some dogs outside (probably in a yard so they don't wander off) and let them dig holes so you can fill them.
"I've got my eye on you"
"Play 10 times with the rabbit in looking for carrots"


Play 10 different times with one rabbit or multiple rabbits.
"Bricklayer"
"Place 500 walls"

I believe this will work if you place and delete multiple walls, but it'll take a LONG time to do so if you do them one by one. So place 10 or 20 at a time, and delete them, then rinse and repeat.
"Dirt has no chance"
"Bathe 30 dogs"

I think washing the same dog multiple times may count toward this, but I'm not positive. This is another one of those achievements you can get by accident while just playing the game regularly. Wash dogs you take in, whether they're dirty or not, and you'll get it in no time.
"You are expanding"
"Return 50 guests in good condition"

You can repeat the strategy from the "High-five" achievement and get an extra 5 more fish to make this go a bit quicker and easier.
"Like a fish in the water"
"Upgrade 10 aquariums"

Upgrade 10 aquariums. This makes the strategy mentioned for the previous achievement doubly efficient because you might already have 10 aquariums just waiting to be upgraded.
"Sharp cut"
"Call the groomer ten times"

You can call a groomer without having any pets that need to be groomed and it'll still count toward this one. They will still charge you a fee of $200 for an unjustified call, though.
"You are conquering the market"
"Your hotel has been operating for 50 days"
You can wait 50 days in a row to get this. But I don't recommend it unless your hotel is to a point where it's operating automatically on its own. Still though, it's best to start a new game on an empty lot and wait 50 days in a row there. Or, play legit for 50 ingame days without skipping. I admire your dedication if you do.
"Relax"
"Call the masseur 10 times"

Just like the groomer, you can call the masseur 10 times in a row without any pets for them to massage, and it'll count.
"Everyone on board"
"Hire 10 employees"

Hire 10 employees. This will cost a LOT of money at the end of each day.. So you can make this easier if you just start on an empty lot, place manager desk and set up an ad for job offers. Then hire literally everyone that comes to you until you get 10.
"A strong bond"
"Play 10 times with the dog pulling the rope"

Play 10 different times with one dog or multiple dogs.
You'll need to buy a "play rope" to do this.
"Prestige"
"Earn 5 stars"

I got this by complete accident while building a hotel for every type of pet, starting with turtles and fish. Just upgrade your aquariums, turtle tanks and/or bunny cages as you can, and return every pet in the best condition you can, and eventually you'll get 5 stars.
"Dogs"
"There are 10 dogs in the hotel"

This has to be 10 dogs at once. You'll need 10 rooms total, which will be pretty costly. Try to avoid taking in dogs that only stay with you for 4 or less days, so they don't leave while you're gathering the rest.
"It will be good!"
"Call your veterinarian 10 times"

Just like the masseur and groomer, you can call the vet 10 times without any sick pets and it'll count toward this.
"Bricked"
"Build 1000 walls"

Like the 500 wall achievement, this one is a bit tedious. Just place 10 to 20 walls at a time, then go back and delete them. Rinse and repeat for as long as it takes to get this.
"Jump to a new level"
"Upgrade 10 rabbit pens"

Buy and upgrade 10 rabbit pens. Just like upgrading aquariums and turtle terrariums, this can get a little costly. So upgrade them as possible.
"Straight from the heart"
"Give 20 treats"

Buy 20 treats and give them to a bunch of dogs/cats, or one really lucky but soon-to-be very chonky dog or cat.
"You are the best!"
"Return 100 guests in good condition"

This'll take a while, but don't worry! You don't have to do this in a row. Return as many pets as you can in the best condition you can and eventually you'll get this one.
"All mine"
"Buy the entire available area"

I did this in sandbox, and achievements are "supposed to be" disabled for sandbox mode now, so I'm not sure how long it'll take to buy the whole area. But with some serious money saving, it's definitely possible.
"Cats"
"There are 10 cats in the hotel"

Just like the "Dogs" achievement, this has to be 10 cats at once. You'll need 1 room for each cat. Try to avoid taking in cats that only stay with you for 4 or less days, so they don't leave while you're gathering the rest.
"Fish"
"There are 10 fish in the hotel"

Interestingly, I find this one easier than the "Dogs" and "Cats" achievements. You'll need 10 aquariums in total.
Then just take in all the fish!
"There’s no rush"
"Upgrade 10 turtle terrariums"

Buy and upgrade 10 rabbit pens. Just like upgrading aquariums and rabbit cages, this can get a little costly. So upgrade them whenever possible.
"Turtally Awesome!"
"There are 10 turtles in the hotel"

Like the "Fish" achievement, this is easier than "Cats" and "Dogs". Make sure you have 10 turtle terrariums and take in as many turtles as you can.
"What a move!"
"There are 50 pets in the hotel"
This, in my opinion, is probably the most difficult achievement to get. It's due to the fact that gathering this many pets all at the same time is difficult due to how they'll always be ticking down their time in the hotel with each day that passes. So you'll get close, just for a pet to check out.
Keep trying and you'll get it!
"Rabbits"
"There are 10 rabbits in the hotel"

Like the "Fish" achievement, this is easier than "Cats" and "Dogs". Make sure you have 10 rabbit cages and take in as many rabbits as you can.
"An experienced hotelier"
"Your hotel has been operating for 100 days"

This may be the one of rarest achievements for this game but don't let it scare you. Try what I did and go to an empty lot, and wait for 100 days. You don't have to build or place anything, simply passing 100 days on a single world/hotel will count.
