A Girl waits alone in a crumbling church in lands devastated by The Battle of Aeonia.

In the lands torn apart by the Scarlet Rot in The Battle of Aeonia, a girl waits alone in a crumbling church for someone to help her. This poor flower is Millicent, a woman who appears to have mysterious connections with the Demigod Malenia

When we get a closer look at Millicent, she is huddled in a ruined church and infected with the scarlet rot. This is not an unusual fate for a denizen of Caelid, but the Servants of Rot seem to worship Millicent as a kind of Goddess.



Sage Gowry, a Servant of Rot claims he found Millicent in the swamp of Aeonia as a baby, and says she is one of his "dear daughters." He raised Millicent and her sisters;

Mary, the Eldest Sister, wields a Halo Scythe and uses Discus of Light similar to Cleanrot Knights.

Maureen, the Second Sister, wields a Treespear and can use Sacred Order, giving her weapon attacks a boost of holy damage.

Amy, the Third Sister, fights with two Flowing Curved Swords, and can perform spinning attacks that deal significant poise damage.

Polyanna, the Youngest Sister, uses a Blade of Calling, which allows her to suddenly leap into the air and fire a devastating bolt of holy energy.

Later Gowry tasks us with finding the Unbound Golden Needle and bringing it back to him to be repaired to give this item to Millicent to cure her condition and help her deal with the Scarlet Rot, making her well enough to continue her quest, to Miquella's Haligtree.

Millicent sets out on a journey through the Middle Lands, retracing the route taken by Malenia, Blade of Miquella after the battle of Aeonia. In Altus Plateau, where they present her with a Valkyrie Prosthetic to replace her missing sword arm.





The journey takes her to the Top of the Giant Mountains, in search of a fort containing a medallion that will allow her to access Haligtree. After the medallion is claimed, it heads to the Sacred Snowfield, and finally Millicent heads to Haligtree and Elphael, the town at its base.



Here it is revealed that she is of Malenia's blood, although it is uncertain whether she is a sister, daughter, or offshoot of the Demigod. Unbeknownst to Millicent, however, Gowry plots and asks his four remaining daughters to kill Millicent, so that she could be reborn as a scarlet valkyrie when Malenia ascends to godhood.

At the end, Millicent triumphs and fulfills her wish, the wish not to “blossom” into whatever Malenia has or will become. She removed the needle from her body, allowing her to succumb to the Rot and die like herself.

It's cool and all but you can get a late game talisman if you help her with the golden needle and kill her afterwards
