The choices the player makes throughout the story of YIIK will have an optional scene play out where Rory commits suicide while Alex was away with the Essentia. After this event, many of the events where Rory would be speaking will have a character like Claudio or Chondra speak instead. The Player's Rory will be absent in the party in Ending 1 as well.

At KNN, Rory will appear and tell the player that it wasn't their fault for what happened to them.

This event is decided by a variable called "SuicideWatch" which starts at -1. If the variable is 0 or less by the time you get to Chapter 5, Rory will commit suicide. In Chapter 3, if you go to the Wind Town Record Stop without vising Rory first and later apologize to him, the variable will be set to 1. If you don't apologize, it will be set to 0. If you talk to Rory first and apologize, it will be set to 2. And if you don't apologize, it will be set to 1.

Refusing to talk to Rory after playing the record will not effect the "SuicideWatch". If you hurry him along you will gain 1 point, and if you let him take his time you'll gain 2.

The biggest factor is in the search for the android. Picking up Rory as your first action will give you 5 points. Not picking him up first gives you 2, and not picking him up at all will reduce the number by 3.

AND if you've made it all the way down here, you may be wondering "Why are these the best scenes in YIIK?" The answer is that a video that shows similar content is called "The worst scenes in YIIK" and the title is purely to be in contrast with that :)
