Description

Fun little game which main gimmick is a switch between two different layers that coexist in the same screen. When you're in one layer, nothing from the other one can hurt or collide with you. Thus, the game relies on good control of that gimmick.
Black hole is the final difficulty of the game, which has more enemies, more environmental hazards and more bullets than the others. You also don't get any shields while playing on story mode (the same game but with checkpoints).
Infinite Mode is meant to be the equivalent to arcade mode. Think of it like those games where you can loop the levels over and over. There is an achievement for doing a 1-ALL on Black Hole - this is what I aimed for.

Infinite Mode details:
Level 0 does not appear here since it's a tutorial.
You start on sudden death.
Every 100 kills, you get an 1-UP in the form of a shield. Picking it up changes your ship to another random one, even if you haven't unlocked it.
Some bigger enemies may count as 2 or 3 kills. Boxes count as kills. Bosses will usually count as 50 or 100 kills per phase.
There is no limit to the amount of lives you can have, but the i-frames post-hit are short, and you cannot get any more lives when you start looping.
Even if you have many lives you can INSTA-GAME OVER if you get stuck against a wall at the bottom of the screen. This is mainly important for the final stages but it can happen if you switch carelessly in earlier ones too.

One important, if not mandatory, thing to note is that if you switch between layers the moment you're grazing any bullet, it will be absorbed by a shield and increase your overclock/hyper bar by a big amount. Which means you intentionally want to be preparing the hyper by getting close to some bullets and pop it up whenever you need some safety. The shield is very brief; it only stays on the moment you press the switch button and it doesn't go to the new layer with you, which means it essentially works as a parry. 
This is also important because without it you will never be able to fill up the hyper bar unless there are a ton of enemies, since it drains constantly except when it's already filled up. Odd design choice.
You can do this even if you are unable to switch between layers due to the presence of a wall in your position. The screen will turn red and you'll stay in the same layer, but the shield will still activate and absorb any nearby bullets.
There is a half-second cooldown between activations.

As for the actual scoring system, points are entirely determined by the orbs you grab, a difficulty multiplier and a chain multiplier.
Black hole difficulty has a 1000x multiplier.
The chain multiplier, with a 1 second interval between kills and going from x2 to xn, affects the value of orbs when you grab them, but that's about it.

The game loop takes almost an entire hour due to the length of the levels. You can speed it up a bit by staying near the upper border but it is not recommended to do that due to enemy spawns.
Bosses overall are fairly simple once you get used to them. They're mainly a patience test. I was more afraid of the stages at times.

My run died at Loop 2, stage 1. Still a 1-ALL.
