"you can only have one due to technical limitations, the ability system wasn't designed with multiple ability slots in mind.
Attempting to rework it to do so wouldn't be worth the effort, both due to the additional technical complexity involved, but also because of balancing implications; having multiple abilities could potentially be OP (Ex: Stacking a bunch of strong damage abilities and then just using them all at once to deal tons of damage to a boss before the fight even begins).
That said, even though you can only use one at a time, it isn't a bad idea to carry multiple and quickly swap between them to meet your needs. For example, you could start with an offensive ability, but also carry a healing ability that you can swap out to if you're running low on HP."
Some time in the future I want to try making a wiki(s) for my mods as a resource, though.
If you keep your healing potions in your Void Vault/Bag, try keeping them in your main inventory instead.
That said, I would like the Life Well to work if the potion is in the Void Vault/Bag, I'm not sure why it doesn't ATM.
