lets sey you want to make a silencer in blender some of them have a nice kinda zig zag shape on middle but how do you make them ?

let me make one first


ok this is our model its so ugly and bad and simple our boss dose not like ugly things


first pick a area that you want zig zag shapes on like me


like this now pick the middle area and pres ctrl + r and use the mouse to add moe loop cut

add as much as you want

select the area on face select and go to face and poke face

then press alt + j and you get this

press i and enable this

use alt+s to scale them up but not too much (not s - alt + s)


now press m and 3 and you are done

now for the next part you have to add a sub div modifier

im not going to do that since im on a potato but if you have good pc press ctrl + 2 or 3 this add a smoothness you the
mesh and make it better

if you want to see what this looks like with a sub-div i made cuople of guns with silencer go to my profile and
choose artwork and set it to blender only and look at that guns with silencer
