Tag Team is an extremely underrated perk deck in Payday 2. Tag Team is sold in the H3H3 character pack and is a unique option to other health based decks. Unlike the other health based decks in the game Tag Team requires an allied unit to use.

Why you should use it: Tag Team is one of the better decks on the lower tier. Tag Team has a level of team play required (jokers are your friends) that other perk decks do not have. It also has a fun and aggressive play style that can also change to slow on the fly.

The Gas Dispenser
The major selling point of the perk deck the new throwable. The Gas Dispenser allows for the user to "Tag" a allied unit with a range of 18 meters. it also a cooldown of 60 seconds and a duration of 12 seconds.
What is a allied unit
A allied unit is a team AI, joker, or human player. you cannot tag sentries
How does the healing work?
While a allied unit is tagged every kill you and the tagged target get heals the user by 15HP and the target by 7.5
Health Boost
Tag Team has a increased health stat of 322 from 230
Cooldown
The Gas Dispenser has a base cooldown of 60 seconds and a duration of 12 seconds. For each kill you or your tagged ally gets it decreases the cooldown by 2 seconds. Every kill the tagged ally and user gets it increases the duration by 1.3 seconds
The damage absorption
For each kill you or the tagged target kill you get 2 damage absorption max of 20 (10 kills) this effect will last until the perk deck item is usable again.

When Should I use the Gas Dispenser?
Anytime during a assault is good to use it. The most optimal time is in a area were you can get constant KPM to keep the effect active. Do not use it during low cop spawns/fade

Should you tag jokers?
As of U.240.3 Tagging Jokers no longer works as client will remove this note when it is fixed.
Yes, Tagging a joker lowers the potential of the allied unit but it gives you healing based on your kills so if you need to tag something a joker is a amazing option.

Tag Team in Chat Mod
Tag Team in chat[modworkshop.net] is a mod that privately messages your tag target in game. The reason this mod could be useful is the game doesn't by default tell the person you tagged they are tagged. I personally don't play with the mod but I can see how some might find it useful!

Tips for Running Tag Team

• You should always try and tag the best preforming player in the lobby.
  
• Tag Team lacks any form of safety net so play safer than you would your hackers/stoic
  
• It takes 15 kills to get a heavy shot back.

These builds have been tested and work on DSOD. If not mentioned any neutral detection weapons mods can be used ex: Compact laser or pistol laser. If you are missing a weapon mod or weapon try and find the closest option to it.

Jokers are a invaluable part a Tag build adding another target to tag and giving you extra hp with taking massive aggro. Building for ether 2 shot armor or 3 shot is highly suggested. Tag follows the standard optimal skill tree building.

Important Breakpoints to know

• 3 kills while Tag is active with ICTV will grant the user 2 shot armor
  
• 9 kills gets anti light on LBV
  
• 4 Kills on BV gets anti light 6 kills gets an anti shield
  
• 1 Kill on HBV gets 1 shield shot
  
• Having HBV or LBV with Die hard aced will give you grace protection from a light into heavy shot

The explosive arrows allow for one of the bows biggest weakness to become to a non issue. Giving the bows multi kill potential allows for it to be great for horde clearing. With a crit it can insta kill heavies. Locke and Load aced works on the DECA giving you faster reloads. Bulletstorm removes the need to reload removing another 2 of the bows big weaknesses. The Parabellum is your dozer killing tool and can come in a hand in a pinch killing a enemy or two.
