The Aspect of Nemesis empowers the Stygius Blade with a chance to land critical hits for a short time after a Special attack, while Frost Flourish is a Demeter Boon that boosts its damage as well as applies Chill to enemies that are hit by it. Combined, the player has the perfect setup to slow down enemies with a hefty strike, before a barrage of critical attacks.

Finding a Daedalus hammer increases the damage of Special even further, as well as its effective range. This works great on bosses and groups of enemies alike, giving Zagreus more control over the battlefield.

The Shield of Chaos is a great weapon that can become available rather early, and it comes with the unique ability to Block. Speed and huge shields don't usually go together, but Aegis is surprisingly quick in terms of its attack speed and moveset. That makes it a great match for Support Fire, an Artemis Boon that sends out magic enemy-seeking arrows with every Attack, Special and Cast.

The player can send a volley of arrows while pommeling an enemy in melee, or provide extra damage to those shield throws against pesky casters. In the case of an Artemis-focused run, critical hits will be a great addition to this build.

Ravenous Will is a Demeter Boon that boosts damage and lets the player resist damage while the Bloodstone is away. Normally, Zagreus would have to either cast it away or simply chuck it to the side to use the boon. However, the Hera aspect allows loading the crystal into the next attack, seamlessly firing away the crystal while powering up whatever Cast is currently equipped.

In combination with various Cast boons, the player gets the better cast with Hera's aspect and the extra damage while spells are on cooldown. This combo has a great overall synergy and a nice addition to a spell-based build.

Twin fists have a risky play style, but there are many ways to defend against the different hazards. The Zagreus Aspect provides a nice Dodge chance, negating some of the incoming attacks. Passion Dash is an Aphrodite Boon that Weakens enemies upon landing, as well as deals good damage to those affected.

Combined, they provide much better chances of surviving jumping into a group of fiends, as well as a boss. With Greater Evasion from Hermes, Dodge chance increases even more, making it much less likely for Zagreus to get hit. That still leaves plenty of room for damaging Boons to flesh out the build.

The Twin Fists have the highest base attack speed in the game, which makes Lightning Strike, a Zeus Boon that sends out lightning with every hit a wonderful match. This weapon is notorious for its short range and dangerous play style, but the Talos Aspect unlocks the ability to pull enemies to the player, which allows fighting one enemy at a time instead of rushing into the middle of a group.
With this pair, Zagreus is able to attack a single enemy, while sending lightning shocks to the rest of the wave. Other Zeus Boons can empower the lightning strikes, adding more damage, increasing the affected area, and even a chance to strike twice.

The Eternal Spear is a great all-around part of the arsenal, equally viable in close and long-range skirmishes. The Hades Aspect adds a Punishing Sweep that makes foes more susceptible to damage. Trippy Flare is a Dionysus Cast Boon, that replaces the regular cast with a grenade-like projectile that spreads Festive Fog, periodically stunning enemies in its area of effect.

The combination allows setting up a kill box with vulnerable, confused enemies prime for piercing. Any damaging Boons work great with this combination, trivializing most encounters. Multiple Daedalus upgrades increase that increase the range of the Punishing Sweep or speed up its charge-up time.

A gun in a Greek mythos setting is something we didn't know we desperately needed. Even better, it comes with a built-in nuke dispenser that becomes even stronger with Drunken Flourish: a Dionysus Boon that increases Special damage and applies a Hungover status, damaging enemies over time.

The Eris aspect increases the damage from Attacks after the Special is fired, unleashing carnage upon the unsuspecting enemies. In the case that a player comes upon a Triple Shot Daedalus upgrade, they will be able to send out 3 bombs at once. Should anything survive the aftermath, it becomes quite easy to clean up with the extra damage from Eris.

This combination is different in that it's not a directly powerful pair, but a great foundation for a build. Greater Haste is a Hermes Boon that increases movement speed, while The Zagreus aspect increases both attack speed and movement speed. Stacking both buffs allows zooming around the map before Zagreus even begins to dash, which is a great addition to any arsenal in Hades.
On top of that, another Hermes Boon: Rush Delivery adds damage to all damage dealt, the bonus being based on movement speed. And with that, suddenly there is a hefty boost to damage without taking up an important Boon slot.

Another strong side of the Eternal Spear is its powerful Dash Attack, with good range and the ability to execute numerous of them in a row. Naturally, it pairs extremely well with Artemis' Boon: Hunter Dash, which boosts the damage from Dash Attacks.

Furthermore, the Achilles Aspect allows throwing out the spear and quickly dashing toward it, injuring enemies along the way and receiving a nice damage boost afterward. Together, the player gets an extremely mobile play style that focuses on moving across the map, sliding through enemies while evading damage. Any Boons that boost Special will greatly enhance this niche build.

Coronacht, the Heart-Seeking Bow is a long-ranged weapon that is excellent for keeping the distance away from foes. With Tempest Strike from Poseidon, that ability is amplified by the knockback effect, allowing Zagreus to continually rain arrows down on enemies while staying far from danger. The combination becomes even better with the Daedalus Chain Shot, allowing arrows to bounce from one enemy to another.

The reason this works so well is due to the game's Wall Slam mechanic that damages enemies when they hit a wall or an object. Sprinkle Typhoon's Fury on top to watch the enemies pinball off the walls to their inevitable demise.
