Is this where I actually get Hardstuck?

Someone will probably ego me and call me a "Hardstuck Main Player" a few seasons down the line... 
I'll just have to prove the League-o-tistical creature(s) wrong yet again.

I was called Hardstuck Open plenty of times, which I would've known was hilariously wrong even halfway through my first season with a messy team situation. 
   - Adding further to the comedy, I had a very old IM tryout as an entry rifler. They asked me to be their sub for the last 8 games of the season since their entry was going to need to leave the team for an extended period of time. They intended to use the 8 games as a prolonged tryout, potentially giving me a starting role for future seasons (moving their prior entry to a sub role due to team progression).
   - I played during this time, and up until my #1 AWP Kills Season in Open [S39], on a Laptop. I eventually "upgraded" by connecting a 144hz monitor to the laptop [S38], which was not even able to support the refresh rate due to a lackluster framerate. I could buy decent hardware for myself, but I eventually worked to buy an actual PC [Mid-S39]. From there, my last Open season and onwards, I became actually able to observe drastic and active improvement(s) to my gameplay. Naturally I wasn't too worried advancing to IM as Season 40 came around. I'd already received Main and IM offers by the time we'd advanced, as well as coaching/confidence from an Advanced player named Blakers. I should also mention that Blakers graciously offered coaching and insight for my team "Defiant Esports" during late Season 37 and in Season 38; this invaluable contribution came after our core of 3 players rebuilt our roster within the first few games of the season.
As of Season 39 I got a new word on my history tab; a word which made people who saw it finally recognize what I'd already known: I was never Hardstuck Open.

I was called Hardstuck IM plenty of times as well. I had one true "starting-spot" Main offer, which I didn't accept simply to play with the teammates I had already formed a team and friendships with in the prior season (my first season of Open). By this point in my League experience, I'd seen enough and improved so much that I practically viewed Main xp to be something I didn't just deserve, but already earned in my level of gameplay despite not having the new word yet in my history tab.
   - I'm am now a mature enough player to know that I would not have been "properly ready" to play in Main had I accepted a Main offer before Season 40/Season 41. My Rifle mechanics were passable for a Main AWPer as of Season 40, and by early Season 39, I was certainly a capable AWPer mechanically speaking; however, while I was over prepared mechanically speaking, I simply  did not have enough teamplay knowledge to be a consistently positive "Teamplay-er" for a Main Team. I would've been average to "streaky" in all likelihood, and I would've likely had to learn my way forward through teammates getting frustrated at silly mistakes I would make every so often.

BUT. 
I knew I had a lot to work on as a player. I quite literally DID NOT *KNOW I NEEDED a jumpthrow bind*, until, for the first time it was noticed nearing 2 seasons after our team was formed, I missed the timing of throwing the Mirage Window Smoke, and called that I messed up the timing to throw the smoke (letting them know there would be no smoke window). You can imagine the reactions after playing almost 2 seasons with someone and realizing they had never even set up/added to a config before, much less actually have a jumpthrow bind.
(yes I know how impossibly absurd for me to have been that clueless)
My very first "team" and core-3 players I played ESEA League with [Defiant Esports], one of which would sub/coach during our 5th and final season together, would end up encompassing all of my "actual" League XP until Season 44. Poor team scenarios, poor timing to injure my wrist, and poor timing of unfortunately significant events in my personal life led to 2 seasons played and only 9 total games to show for it.

I have improved an incredible amount from these days, but, as of Season 44, I got a new word on my history tab; a word which made people who saw it finally recognize what I'd already known: I was never Hardstuck IM.
