No Burnt Cars

Descriere
No more ugly, immersion-breaking burnt wrecks lying around.

This is a game about the zombie apocalypse, not the spontaneous-car-combustion apocalypse!



Replaces burnt out wrecks spawning with functional cars. This means more cars spawn, which can be imbalanced for the default game settings. Lowering vehicle condition value to compensate is recommended.
Works with any vehicle mods that don't add in their own burnt variants such as Filibuster Rhyme's used Cars.

Hopefully this mod will be updated for Build 42, it is one of my favorite mods. Please, when possible, I would love you to update it :)

can someone make a mod that expands this so it replaces all wrecks, cars and whatnot with filibusters original car mod from 2022

@Dalborga well unlike the cars the houses have an in-universe explanation. The idea is that people who were trying to evacuate left their ovens on (or their house just caught fire from any number of normal reasons), and the fire departments could no longer operate so a lot of houses just burnt down.

@danny_is_dude I really liked the mod. It adds a lot of realism to the game, but you could add other versions, such as having 20% of the vehicles as burnt cars, or 40% to 60% as options. I think that would be cool.

Maybe like make it so that it's rare to find one with fairly ok battery you know, remaining or fair amount of fuel in it or both

The idea of the mods makes sense, however, i think they made it that way to make it harder for you to have a pristine vehicle.
