    Yes, trolleybus poles would move along overhead cables

    No, mod uses constrain function to hold them in place

  • Are trolleybuses forced to drive along cables?
    No, you can manually disconnect or just pull it off

  • Could I connect a trolleybus to a line?
    Yes, but on within range of capturer

  • How do you get the path of a rope?
    It's impossible to get path of ropes under existing modding framework. This mod uses nodes to approximate path of ropes. This is also the reason for cables all under tension.

  • I want to make some trolleybuses, any tutorial?
    This mod includes PDF guidance, you can make local copy and view it.

  • Does it work with articulated vehicles?
    Yes, as long as the vehicle is setup correctly.

Limitations and Known Issues
  1. If a trolleybus is connected to a cable, this vehicle would keep active (game would simulate physics). Therefore if there's too many trolleybuses connected it might cause performance issue.
  2. Cannot get path of ropes, which have mentioned above.

it is compatible with spawning but this mod is only for showcasing

Oh it might be a keybind conflict. T key is also used by some slow motion mods so that probably be the reason. You can change keybind of either mod if possible.

Mine would need the trolleybus keybinds to do so.

Сначала на троллейбусе, который переделывал с оригинальной модели. Потом зашёл на карту Trolleybus Showcase и всё повторилось.

First, on a trolleybus, which was redesigned from the original model. Then I went to the Trolleybus Showcase map and everything happened again.

Приветствую. У меня баг с модом (скорее всего, поломан скрипт).
При попытке нажать T (чтобы присоединиться к проводам) троллейбус как будто замораживается и перестаёт ехать. При подключении к проводам этот эффект остаётся. При отключении от проводов (нажатие на T) игра на 5 секунд начинает лагать, а потом отлагивает.
Просьба исправить баг.

Greetings. I have a bug with the mod (most likely, the script is broken).
When you try to press T (to join the wires), the trolleybus seems to freeze and stops moving. When connected to wires, this effect remains. When disconnected from the wires (pressing T), the game starts to lag for 5 seconds, and then delays.
Please fix the bug.

Yes it is. But you can't connect back to overhead cables anywhere, you need to find a capturer just same as in real life

it disconnects every time you try and turn because the bus doesn't turn fast enough
