List of retro/boomer shooters
By The Grinter
I've recently gotten into a lot of retro shooters, so I figured making a list for some of them would be helpful.

Notes
Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition includes a fourth episode.

Duke Nukem 3D's Steam release is missing a sizable amount of content from the expansions (and also includes a new episode exclusive to this version). The release on Zoom[www.zoom-platform.com] includes the four official expansions, and two bonus expansions. I would recommend using a source port.

The Ultimate DOOM includes a fourth episode.

Doom 3 BFG Edition (bundled in with Doom 3 and it's expansion) includes "No Rest For The Living", a Doom 2 expansion exclusive to that version, I would recommend using it with a source port due to the censorship seen in that version.

The third-person fourth game in the Heretic/Hexen series has faced legal problems for years and has no official way of playing.

The Hexen II expansion pack "Portal of Praevus" has no official way to purchase it, archived uploads are the only way to play it.

The Playstation 2 release of Half-Life featured an exclusive expansion entitled "Half-Life: Decay" There are several mods that aim to recreate this in GoldSrc.

The Steam release of Redneck Rampage and Redneck Rampage Rides Again both are missing the music from the original release. The OST for both can be found in the GOG [www.gog.com] release.

Rise of the Triad, EXTREME Rise of the Triad, Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold, and Blake Stone: Planet Strike are all included in The Apogee Throwback Pack on Steam.

Half-Life has several playable mods available to download directly from Steam as long as you own a Steam copy.

The following games have had a remaster on Steam: Doom, Doom II, Duke Nukem 3D, Quake, Chasm: The Rift, Blood, Strife, Forsaken, SiN, Rise of the Triad

The following series have mainline entries that are not boomer shooters and therfore are excluded from this list: Doom, Wolfenstein, Half-Life, Duke Nukem, Postal, Halo, Deus Ex, Red Faction, Alien vs. Predator, Far Cry, Ion Fury

Hello! Could you add our retro-shooter called Slipgate to this list? It's truly "retro" cause its made on game engine from 2005 using most oldschool ideas and technics.
