Modding Defense
What is modding defense?
Modding defense is the act of reversing damages done to your account or will be further done to your account due to someone modding you or harassing you.
Essentially, if you are tired of being blown into oblivion in each lobby you join by some invisible and invincible man, then this is the right place for you.

So what exactly will I have to do?
Simple.
There will be clear and clean cut instructions on modding software that you may need to install to your game. The modding software affects nothing other than Grand Theft Auto V itself.

The software will allow you to be invincible to modders.
Anything found within the menu can be used to your advantage to protect yourself but not attack others.
The menu will help safeguard you from being booted from lobbies, being ragdolled into oblivion, or even being teleported into irrelevant locations.

If your game stops working, or you installed the wrong files. That is on you. This is to be used at your own discretion. I am simply sharing what has worked for me.
Software

The software I recommend using is Kiddions Modest Menu.
This software is consistently updated with each GTAV update, and sometimes brings new content to the menu.

The menu is good not even for defense against modders, but for fun in Story Mode as well.

Kiddions Modest Menu
I recommend installing it from UnknownCheats, as they have proven to be the most trustworthy site when it comes to game mods and addons.

Incase you don't want to go through all the "create an account" BS or you're afraid UnknownCheats is ran by Kanye West or Adolf Hitler, you can use this Google Drive version.
It is only up to date through v9.6. It may not work on future versions.
But as I'm writing this guide, it works and is stable.

Installation

Upon entering the site you will be prompted to make an account or log in, or even connect an email.
Below the page, somewhere near the bottom, press "Register and Account".

Now personally..
I don't trust that sh*t. So I recommend just making some side email and doing it from there. Don't worry, it has no effect on your ability to run the menu in the future, so you won't even have to remember your account.

After Doing Some Mental Gymnastics
You can finally install the damn thing.

After Installation
You will have to extract the files from the .zip folder.
You do NOT need win.rar or any fancy sh*t to do this.

Run That Bad Boy
Open up GTAV

After loading into the game, you can quickly tab out and run the menu application.
It is called "modest-menu" and it is inside the folder that you extracted earlier.

Tab back into GTAV and you should have this mod menu overlay.
The overlay can quickly be toggled on and off by pressing F5.

As for God Mode and Online Services
To protect yourself from other modders, you will have to explore the menu and see what options best suit you for the scenario you are in.

Example: Turning off the ability to be booted from your lobby by another modder can be found in the "Online Services" section.

You can navigate the menu via arrow keys on either your num-pad or your dedicated arrow keys depending on how your keyboard is setup.
To select something or toggle it on and off, just press enter.
Conclusion
You can now finally somewhat enjoy Grand Theft Auto V.
I hope this guide helped you, if you have any questions just ask so within the comment thread below.

You won't get banned unless you act stupid with it.
Simply having God mode enabled and giving yourself lump sums of money here and there is not enough for the game to ban you.

Rockstar is so insanely bad with cheat detection it's a risk of almost 0% in terms of getting banned.

Just don't bother others and you're fine.
