Agreed, travelling at FTL, you'd likely not see where you're going, and would just end horribly.

nerd fact, light doesn't actually stretch when reaching near FTL speeds it sort of flattens so it would be like looking into a spot light just all around you, but that doesn't make interesting and entertaining visuals
