When you start tropico 3 you can select a variaty of many famous presidents!
Or you can create your own like i did!

Every president has his flaws.Your flaws will make a lot of problems.
For example:
If one of your flaws discriminates womans you'll have later on a issue where the woman will deman a raise or better housing.

Important:To build things simply rightclick your mouse-and you will open the build menu,then simply select the building you want and place it.


At yellow it's your palace!
At green it's paid houses!
And at purple it's where your builders live :D(joking they go to build stuff from there!

At red you have your worst enemy in this game-BARRACKS

And at red as allways!YOUR BIGGEST ENEMY!SHACKS THAT WON'T PAY FOR RENT!


This is the island menu-here you can see and select many things!
At pink you can control your president!
At green you can make an issue(this part is later talked in the guide.
At blue you can see the island happines and population.
And at red you can see the time control,i recomend putting the fastest speed since it all take too much time to wait

If you find this it means no one is living/working

The way to fix this :D



















The yellow show the name of the building.

The blue show the wages(rent in houses);To get people working just put the wages a little bigger,don't put too much or too little!.
The rent needs to be at least 1

Can't get anyone to work?Hire one from the rest of the world!
Simply press the red bottun

The green space show the employs!

To make many you'll need:
-Good placed farms,logging cabins

-A garage near thoose farms

How to place a good farm:
When you have selected to build a farm the terrain from the island will change!
The green zones are better for that specific plantation(do not build the farm over that zone)
Allways make sure to select good plantations(blue zone)
Sugar and tabaco are the highest exporters!

To export your plantations you will need a garage soo your farmers can take theyr plantations and sell them in the docs!

There are 2 types of bad guys in this game!
The barracks




Look at them,living there without paying a thing.
This barracks are bad since they dicrease your population happines and you don't get any rent money.
Before destroying them:
-Make sure you have built another home for them that dosen't have anyone living.
-Some may become rebels if you destroy theyr barracks!


HOW TO DESTROY THEM

Rightclick your mouse and in the building menu look for the road sign,press it and find the demolish bottun.
Now simply select the barracks!

At yellow it's where your builders will come to construct
Meanwhile at red is a counstruction site

Some buildings need to be conected to the road soo make sure garages/police stations/mines/etc. are conected to roads.
To force the builders to construct a certain building first simply delect the bigest house in the blue zone!

After some years your population will demand elections!
You can make a speech and make your population inclined to vote for you or you can simply ignore your population and hope they vote for you!
I recomend you make a speech!








At read you can select a hot issue to talk about!


At blue you can praise the spirit of a group that has a low respect for you
IMPORTANT:make sure the spirit of the US it's allways above 30 or you will be invaded

At green you can promiss something-Make sure to do your promiss or the population will stop beliving in you














At blue you can see all the groupes.
Click anyone of them to see theyr respect for you-green zone
