Introduction
Dames & Heren, welcome to this complete new chapter of my guides.

Here you can find a true complete schematic for the geothermal/nuclear power plant based on the volcano. The guide is targeted for the advanced players: those who know all the basics in game Oxygen not Included.
As well you can find step by step guide how to build and launch this megastructure safe.

P.S I have been making this guide for about a month in my free time. I did it for You and for me free of charge. So please be respectful to me and to the others, and have fun...
General shape

- using the asteroid gravitation to collect and transfer the hot magma from the volcano.
- an infinite storage is using a "secret game feature" to store infinite amount of magma and to keep the volcano never clogged(see further).
- 6 turbines and a lot of steam is used to convert the heat from magma to electricity(maximum output of 5100 W)
- The controllable heat exchanger is regulating the temperature of the steam
- The magma cooler is equipped with automated cleaning system
- An option to locate the nuclear reactor inside
- completely automated no duplicants attention needed during the operation
- only start/pause button
- suitable for use as main power plant of the colony
Drawings and Schematics

How much materials does it cost?
Valuable materials:
Obsidian = 8700 kg
Ceramics = 91200 kg(appr. without saving on courners)
Steel = +-6000 kg(including automation )
Plastic = 1200 kg

Other materials:

- Aluminium 3450 kg(exlculding turbine costs)
- Refined metals
- oil or viscogel
- some raw minerals
Other important and very important information
In this chapter locates everything what I wanted to add about the guide but not in video:

1. Use the drawings from this guide during your build order of this geothermal installation. Especially the one for automation system.

2. The temperature shift plates(thermal plates) with the last game update(SweetDreams) got a hidden change of meta and they now under certain condition conduct the temperature even through the ceramics. I found it occasionally when I was finishing this guide. Thus they are NOT ADVICED to be inside the magma cooler position.
3. The game balance meta changed with the logic gates and bridges. They now transfer the heat through the ceramic walls. and this is considered in this guide. But please be careful build logic gates in vacuum & dont play with magma without saving...

3. Before making any serious step further in your project(like opening the volcano or pumping out the gas) think and save.

4. If you are "a newbie" in this game(<1500 cycles) use this guide only for reference and don't cry about obvious things that were not mentioned here.

5. If you found some alterations between the video and the guide please know that the guide drawings and schematics are up to date & I will not re-upload my video every time the devs made a hidden changes in the game balance. BUT i will update the steam guide and the schematics.

6. If you found bugs or glitches in the system construction. Please write in comments what where when why? Ill try to do my best and help. But remember that "Me" same as "You" is a "slow human" that have a real life. please be kind & respectful.

Thank you for viewing=)

ive got an idea to use purified oil instead steam: that might make more compact system and flexible construction, but unfortunately i do not have time to make a guide... maybe if somebody will do it ill be pleased to look on it))

Yes, I was thinking it might be possible to build on an asteroid where you don't have a big base built. I am in the process of making a very compact build, based on Francis John's design, but it uses a slight exploit, where if you put two mesh tiles one on top of the other and close them down on six sides, the magma doesn't form a tile when it cools down, but drops debris outside of the volcano chamber.
Sadly I'm having some trouble, breaking into the steam chamber for the second time and I had to break into the volcano chamber yesterday just before it erupted. If I get it to run stably I'll post a screenshot.

Agree, some locations of the vocano can not fit. It is a matter of luck and Seed of the world of where it spawns>. if you checked the video im building it in space out in radioative asteroid that is quite big. Undortunately I do not have a compact construction for magma volcano....

The build looks good, but it is not meant for cramped worlds (especially spaced out) that could have other volcanoes (I prefer geoactive for more of different kinds of volcanoes and the stuff they emit) and objects near the build. 43 tiles by 43 tiles can take a large fraction of a spaced out asteroid.

thanks man)

Wow, this is an amazing build! I've been using ridiculously simple design in Spaced Out, because the many asteroids can make the game sluggish in the long run. But one day I will try to build this, it looks epic :D
