Ah yes... the app where everyone only shows the bright parts of their lives. The app where people flex their personal belongings. The app where you can't stop scrolling for hours long...

The app that never fails to make you feel pathetic because the material or emotional wealth you do not possess.

But even so, you can't stop scrolling, you can't stop making yourself feel like ♥♥♥♥. After all, scrolling gives us pleasure... why is that?

The sh!tshow that is Tweeter never fails to disappoint. People cancelling each other for the dumbest sh!t. People having the dumbest opinions and the constant urge to argue with other people to prove your opinion as the dominant one. But for some reason it's all... fun?

Watching other people argue it out on behalf of you, or even joining the heat yourself. There's a certain thrill to it which I can't describe.

But why do they act like this?Do they want... Attention? Validation? Gratification?

Internet browsers... the gateway to the internet. So many opportunities and careers are created here. You can find the answers to everything about anything.

However, one of the most dangerous addictions can be found here as well. The constant urge for instant pleasure, gratification... Which only feeds the loneliness more and more.

Unrealistic standards being set, time being wasted and after all of it, you just feel useless and wonder what the hell you're doing with your life. It's just F'ed, all in all.

One of the media's favorite things to blame whenever something goes wrong in society, video games. Lots of fun, grinding, and socializing. It can't do any harm... right?

When you're bored, depressed or even stressed you play video games. Video games have become one of the main ways to escape from life, a far too reliable one...

Furthermore, I have this weird feeling of guilt when I play games myself. It's not always there... but when it is, it takes away the joy of playing. It makes me feel inadequate, for not doing productive things.

Fake people are everywhere, people who are only friends with you for their own benefit, whether it's material or emotional gain or because you're talented in a certain thing, they just want to take advantage of you.

People like that are everywhere, and most of the time they're experienced too, it's hard to know who's real or not.

But when you finally to find a real friend. Heck, does it feel good to have them. One of the best pleasures to have...

My work from the past 7 years, lumped together and all classified as "garbage". I wish I realized sooner that's wrong.

Did I really think it's all trash? Or did I only start to think that when I compared my work to others? Am *I* not satisfied with my work or are *others*?

Thinking back now, all these projets helped me grow into who I am today. Without having done all these, who knows which path I might've taken.

This isn't trash, it's progress.

Doing something that will improve your skills or will benefit. I'm sure people have their own definitions of the word that differ from mine.

Something so important, yet so difficult to do. With many distractions around that give instant pleasure, while productivity takes time to be pleasureable. It's not weird that people choose instant pleasure...

That's the wrong way of thinking though. You NEED to be productive. You NEED to do something with your life other than wasting time for short lived pleasure. What is a person without any skills? Useless, not only to themselves, but to everyone else.
