Introduction
It is possible to get all trophies on Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter in one playthrough, since all of them are tied to completing a case, or specific puzzles/sections inside a case. No one is missable as you can replay all the cases that you complete at any time you want.

The first set of trophies are the ones related to completing the full cases. There are 7 trophies in this category, split into 5 episodes (cases).

To solve a case you need to:

    • Complete all the puzzles in the case.You may skip them, but doing so will void any trophy related to it. If you are replaying the chapter after getting the trophy, you can skip it by pressing Touch Pad without consequences.
    • Find all the clues related to the case. During each case investigation, you will find pieces of evidence that are considered clues. They will help you reach a deduction, and there are usually between 18-20 clues on each case. Do not worry about missing anyone, since the game will not unlock the next section/puzzle without finding all clues.
    • Reach final deduction. After you have gathered and connected all clues, it is time to make a final deduction. Depending on how you interpreted evidence, you will find different deductions that may lead you to the right suspect or not.
    • Make a moral choice. Once you reach the final deduction you will be presented with a moral choice to whether accuse the criminal or not, depending on each individual's situation and motives. Whatever you choose will not impact the trophies.
Cases achievements
These 7 achievements can not be lost, all you have to do is finish all the cases, and after you finish each case, you will get one of them. The game contains 6 cases, meaning 6 achievements and the 7th achievement you will get after completing all the cases.

You will earn this trophy after completing the all the 6 cases in the game, regardless of the conclusions and moral choices made.
Case#01 "Prey Tell" Achievements
In this case, you must get 3 Achievements other than the case ending Achievement:
Make sure to get all of them before you finish the case, I will explain how you can get them all, but if you don't want to read the explanation follow these steps and you will get them all

  • Don't finish the case before you find all the evidence (18-20 in each case)
  • Never skip Minigames ever
  • Follow the case to the end and do not give an early judgment, Wait until you collect all the evidence

On the Trail
Don't let the suspicious man out of your sight

During this puzzle of the first case, you will control Wiggins, with the task to follow a man through the streets of London without being noticed. This will take approximately 9-10 minutes, so there will be several obstacles that you need to overcome to keep sight of the suspect. Finish this Minigame and you will get the Achievement.

Hermit's Lair
Locate the hideout

On this Achievement, you will use the best nose in all the British Empire (your dog Toby) to follow Mr. Hurst's trail. The first thing to do is to travel to 221b Baker street and interact with Toby. After this there will be a short conversation with Watson in which he will tell you that he will be visiting Lord Marsh this time, so you and Toby will go alone.
After the short conversation has finished, open the map and select Hurst's House to fast travel there.
Once at Hurst's House, a cutscene will automatically play in which you will make Toby smell a rag with Mr. Hurst's scent.
Right after this, you will be in control of Toby, and will be tasked to follow the smell trail to its end. This trail will look like a green-ish smoke.

At Gunpoint
Become prey, to trick the hunter

As you escape the hunter, you will need face several path choices and 2 different areas that have their unique mechanic


All you have to do is reach the end
Case#02 "A Study in Green" Achievements
In this case, you must get 4 Achievements other than the case ending Achievement:

Win a tournament of local interest

Opposite to most of the case-specific Achievement, this is not required to be achieved to continue with the case. If you choose to go for the trophy later on, it will not mean a big waste of time since it happens at the very beginning of the case, All you have to do is win the tournament

Find a way inside a secret room

Once you enter Marley's foundry, you will see the door to his office is locked, so you will need to find another way in

Back Against the Wall
Experience a hearty welcome

When you arrive at Albeit's house towards the end of the case, you will hear noise and screams from inside of the house. It is Albeit desperately asking for help, so you will need to break into the apartment and face the intruder trying to harm Albeit.

Phantasmagorical Journey
Escape the perils of your imagination

By the end of the case, Sherlock Holmes will discover a representation of the Tecun Uman temple inside a mechanical globe, and will mentally recreate the journey that the bowling club members took inside the temple.

Case#03 "Infamy" Achievements

Solve Mary Sutherland's Case

You will earn this Achievement after solving Ms. Sutherland's case at the beginning of the third case Infamy, regardless of the conclusion (right or wrong) and the moral choice you make.

Unwanted Attention
Deal with a gift from a secret admirer

At the beginning of the act, while Holmes is smoking at night, a "gift" will be thrown through the window from the street. Once you get there and calm your dog Toby, you will see a metal cylinder on the floor. That is when the puzzle will start, complete it and you will get the achievement

Ace of Spades
Let the cards fall where they may

To earn this achievement you need to create a distraction on the gambling room in order to distract the guard from the door and access the outside area.

Tavern Tangle
Come to fisticuffs, but for good reason

During the investigation at the Green Dragon Tavern, Orson Wilde will come in dressed up like Sherlock Holmes. This will trigger the bandits at the tavern, who will try to kill him. To earn this achievement you must fight your way out and save Orson at the same time.

Exorcism 2.5
Banish devilry

To achieve this achievement you need to convince Jeremiah's mother to let you search the house for a demon as a distraction, so you can enter and investigate Jeremiah's room.

Become a shadow unseen

At the end of the case, Orson will be kidnapped and Sherlock will follow the captors to a monastery in ruins. You will need to sneak past the guards in and outside of the church to rescue Orson and leave the place alive.

Breathe life into one in need

To achieve this trophy you will need to successfully complete a series of Quick Time Events while doing RCP on a victim of a multiple accident right at the beginning of the case.

Domino Effect
Reconstruct a deadly chain of events

You will earn this trophy after finding all the 13 elements that were involved in the accident and arranging them correctly to reconstruct the chain of events.

Pump It Up
Find a way to control the water

After reconstructing the accident and finding the suspects, Holmes will investigate the sewers of the area. To find out what is happening, you will need to control the water level to be able to traverse the sewers

Let the stars lead you out of danger

During the last case, you will be trapped inside a crypt, and will need to solve a connecting-stars puzzle to find the way out.

The Greatest Test of All
Have the last dance with "Madame Destiny"

At the end of the case, once you escape the crypt, you will need to confront Alice and Kate at the "Madame Destiny" boat.
  • QTE: Select her shoulder to push her back and saver her from falling.
  • Dialogue: You are not a monster!
  • Dialogue: To protect you!
  • Dialogue: No, You're a Holmes!
  • QTE: Select the axe to the top right of the screen to save Kate.
  • Dialogue: They were criminals!
  • Dialogue: No! It's my fault...
  • QTE: Press R2 to avoid the burning beam and L2 while crossing.
  • Dialogue: Yes, I can! I care about you!
  • Dialogue: I saved my own life!
  • Dialogue: And what about your childhood?
  • Dialogue: Alice keeps her father's mummy!
  • Dialogue: We're family!
  • QTE: Grab the hook on the top of the screen and then Kate before she falls.

@MakkaPakka If you skip (even one) QTEs or Mini games you wont get this achievement. You can replay cases in which you skipped to get this achievement.
