The Road to Almighty

Almighty
Collect All Available Trophies

Obviously, this will be the last achievement you get.
And this guide will help you go through a step by step process of what achievements you'll get naturally and which ones you will need to get good at and grind for.

Some achievements in this game is bugged from my experience, so be wary about that. You may need to put some extra work and I'm here to give you those expectations before setting your sights on this achievement.

With that out of the way, let us begin The Road to Almighty.
Rank Achievements

Just so-so
Get one B rank

Yahoooo!
Get one EX rank

Take off~~~
Get EX rank on 3 songs

Break one by one
Get EX rank on 10 songs

Skill and Ease
Get a total of 30 EX ranks

Performer
Get a total of 100 EX ranks

This one should be fairly straightforward. While Performer might seem grindy at first, you'll find that you'll get this achievement naturally while working towards the other achievements.

If you don't know, EX is the rank you get for a Sync Rate of over 117%. But if you just play on 4KEZ, it shouldn't be too difficult to get over 120%.

So don't worry too much about getting an EX on every time you play a song, because trust me, it isn't that difficult and you'll be playing way more than 100 songs to get the Heart-Sync, Played Everything!, and Button Killer achievements. But let's talk about those achievements in more detail in their sections.

If you do want to grind out EX though, I recommend playing through Flurry of Sakura (if you own the Forever Friends DLC) as that song is the shortest song in the entire game. Making it quick and easy to grind for EX ranks.

Also depending on how you play the game, you can totally get Just so-so as the last achievement you get before Almighty, lol.
Accuracy Achievements

Excellence!
Get 118% Syncrat on any song

Precision strike
Get 120% Sync on any song

Audio Player
Get 122% Sync on any song

Because of how much more difficult Audio Player is compared to the other two achievements, I will just write this guide just for that. You will get the other two achievements by attempting to grind out this one.

What MUSYNX doesn't explain too well to players is how the Sync scoring works.
To give you the gist of it, this game has five separate judgment types. There's Miss, Right, Great, Dark Blue Exact, and Cyan Exact.

So even if you get a "perfect" run with all Exacts, you may have a hard time getting to 122% sync rate. To give a more detailed explanation, I have pasted a quote from a forum discussion post:

"When you hit a note under 90ms you will get a Blue Exact that will give 100% Sync rate
When you hit a note under 45ms you will get a Cyan Exact that will give 105% Sync rate, and this is where the things get tricky... you get a extra 0 to 10% Sync rate on Cyan notes the closer you are to 0ms, lets imagine you hit it in 0ms, that would make that Cyan note give 115% Sync rate
Notes Final Sync rate would be the avarage in the song, with a max of 115%
The missing 10% comes from the combo, if you perform a full combo you get exactly 10% Sync rate adding up for the absolute 125% Sync rate."

So how are we going to get a sync rate of 122% if it is that precise in terms of inputs?
Well, there is one song that won't make you go crazy listening to it over and over and is pretty easy to hit Cyan Exacts with.

And that is GAMEBOY, and thankfully, it's a base game song.

I suggest playing through this song on 4KEZ too, since you want as little notes as possible to screw up your accuracy.

And this is just my personal preference, but use the Paper3D theme for Audio Player attempts. I find that that theme makes it easier for me to time my presses to both the song and visual cues.

If you don't like the look of Paper3D though, I suggest you use Sky2D and Techno2D. Those are the easiest themes to find out if you missed a Cyan Exact.

You'll also most likely get Focus and Cannot Stop while attemping this. Good luck!
"Listen to Podcasts and Grind" Achievements
Fun fact: These achievements will be where you spend the most time with!

I will be splitting this section into two subsections. To better understand the different kinds of grinding you'll have to do in MUSYNX.

Notes Achievements

Aiming! Shooting!
Get a total of 5000 EXACT note judgements

Base Kick!
Get 18000 EXACT note marks total

Metronome
Get 50000 EXACT note marks total

Warm up
Play a total of 10000 notes

Relax your hands
Play a total of 50000 notes

Button killer
Play a total of 200000 notes

Who likes bugged achievements?

Cuz I sure don't.
And the tracking on these achievements are kinda bugged as of 8/7/22.
Essentially, the number of notes you need to hit are effectively doubled. Because it sometimes doesn't register the notes you played every other song.

Because of how much more tedious that makes Button Killer, I have a single song I would recommend you play over and over as it's the most effective time to notes pressed I can find in this game.

Look for Celestial Radio [Sunsetting Billows] (which thankfully, is yet another base game song) in 4KHD.

If you are able to FC this song consistently, you'll get 2490 notes every 2 songs.

(I know the song itself has 2490 notes, but as I said, this achievement's tracking is bugged. If they have fixed it since this guide is published, let me know and I'll correct the information given here.)

Remember that you need to complete the song for it to register to the count. I would suggest just listening to a podcast like Trash Taste if you're going to be spending your time grinding out for this. Or you know, you can just get it naturally over a longer period of time of just playing the game.

Either way, the choice is yours.

@pmLite recently confirmed to me that this achievement isn't bugged. But Celestial Radio might not be the best song for this achievement. They recommend playing Silver Town on the highest difficulty and just smashing all the keys on beat to try and get this achievement.

Thank you for the clarification!

As always though, if you're gunning for Button Killer, you'll get every other achievement before it (even the EXACT ones) naturally.

Song Completion Achievements

Traveller
Complete any song at 6 different stages

Focus
Play one song 8 times continuously

Cannot stop
Play one song 15 times continuously

Half-heartedly
Play 10 different songs in a row

MUSYNC
All Basic Game Songs Average Sync to 110%

Heart-Sync
All Basic Game Songs Average Sync to 115%

Played Everything!
Play All Basic Game Songs

I did tell you you were going to spend most of your time here.

Let's go over them one by one, shall we?

For Traveler, you need to play six different songs with six different themes. The themes are the different backgrounds you see while playing through a song.
I suggest just going through this while going through Played Everything!

Just remember to go to the Themes tab before starting a song and changing it to something else. And you should get this achievement within just six consecutive songs played.
(Although the forums have said this achievement is slightly bugged, so do keep that in mind.)

For Focus and Cannot Stop, I recommend getting this while attempting to get Audio Player. Since you'll need to grind out a song to get over 122% sync anyways, it's better to do it while also going for other achievements. You need to do this in a single session and you cannot choose another song while going for this achievement. You can use the Retry button to count towards this achievement.

For Half-Heartedly, you'll get this naturally by working towards Played Everything!

For MUSYNC, Heart-Sync, and Played Everything!, I recommend ticking off your Forever Friends DLC to see only the Base Songs by using the "Hide Unavailable" option in-game.

Don't worry, you won't lose your progress or scores by ticking this off. But this will lock every Forever Friends songs and only leave you with the Base Game songs.

I recommend just playing through every song on 4KEZ first to basically guarantee a score of over 120%. Since as far as I know, scores for other difficulties don't count until you playthrough them. So just to be safe, playthrough every Base Game songs and get 120% for both MUSYNC and Heart-Sync.

But getting Played Everything! might be a little more difficult. I recommend for you to do this achievements first before getting Forever Friends, because as far as I can tell, this achievement is slightly bugged and won't trigger to unlock even if you have done every single Base Game song in the game.

So just to make sure you have the highest possible chance of getting this achievement, go through the Base Game songs first before buying Forever Friends (if you intend to), and hope that it pops once you finished everything on that list.

You may need to play a couple of 4KHD Base Game songs too because it is seemingly random whether or not you get it even if you did all of the requirements.
Misc. Achievements (Cleanup)
These achievements don't belong in any other category.
They're not that hard, but they require you to do a specific task. So in general, this is where you'll do cleanup for any remaining achievements you may need to unlock.

Try harder one?
Complete HD mode once

Not a very difficult one, obviously. Just play a single song in Hard Mode.

WHAT IS THIS?
Select Exit when you play a Lv.10 or above song

Once again, an easy one. Just play an Inferno difficulty song and then immediately back out.

Pat our pet!
Speak to the shopkeeper 10 times

Go to your options menu and press the Shop button. You'll find a cute girl behind the counter urging you to buy Forever Friends.
Click on her head 10 times to get this achievement.

Multithreading
Get one EX rank at 6K Mode

Once again, not a hard achievement. On the left side of your screen, you can find a button that changes the setting from 4 Keys to 6 Keys. With 6K mode, you need to play through the song with the S, D, F, and J, K, L keys instead of just the four. This shouldn't be too hard, you can get this in EZ mode.
Conclusion

So, you are a great Almighty now, huh?
You think you're so great?

Well, I commend you for your efforts. And well done!

Thank you very much for reading and using my guide, I hope it has proven beneficial for you!
Stay safe and I hope you have a wonderful life.

For the "Heart-Sync" set of achievements, clearing all songs in a difficulty or key-set seems to be fine, once you finish the final song needed, just close the game. Then relaunch and complete any song.
I completed all 4KHD tracks for reference.

does anyone know what the shortest song is? for higher efficiency when trying to complete focus and can't stop
Killer Killer  [author] 22 Jun, 2023 @ 7:44pm
@Gentoxic I understand that. It is infuriating that the achievement just doesn't work as intended.
Gentoxic 22 Jun, 2023 @ 1:02pm
nooooooooo. More grinding... I think I might just give up considering I end up falling asleep trying to do the easy songs.
Killer Killer  [author] 22 Jun, 2023 @ 2:36am
@Gentoxic
I would suggest just trying to play the easy difficulty versions of these songs because that's what I did. And I also would suggest doing this with the Forever Friends DLC turned off (Don't worry, you won't lose your scores)

Hey, I wanted to ask. I went and played all the songs, but the achievement didn't pop. I know you had said that it's bugged, so I went and played a couple other songs, but it still didn't pop. Are these achevos only available for the easy versions? Or can you get it by doing all the hard versions of all the songs.

That is to say, it's not constantly refreshing, but it's not missing notes as far as I can see.
