Saliva sounds interesting. If you go down the base coat way, maybe try a subtle pattern so it is not just a solid colour and it breaks it up a little.
Could also do a similar thing with your bloodshot scout and add like and add like a blood splatter shooting up the barrel.

Was going to try a couple things tomorrow, little stick people getting chewed up... or like goopy saliva. But honestly I really quite like it cut straight down to the basecoat like this. I'll probably end up doing a couple both ways? Not sure yet, gotta see what looks good first!

Yeah, I'm gonna probably do 4-6 color variants... I just love the super bright stuff a lot. I think I might actually release a green one first. Thanks for the suggestion and kind comments! :D

Maybe another colour palette, this looks nice but to similar to the Hyper Beast skins.
