As other guides I've done, THIS is the most polished version of my guide. It has extra visual aid, and will be much easier to follow for some of the entries.

The Game's Order Of These Sucks, So I Changed It
You might think, "This screen is fine." Until you start collecting them.



The game ordered these by CATEGORY not APPEARANCE. So no, it's not fine! It's so not fine, that I reordered the memory chips by appearance myself.


This's close to their actual order. I swear it's easier! You'll see the difference when we get to the map.

NOTE: If any of these memory chips are not where they're supposed to be, that might be a sign that you’ll need to rest, make more deliveries to the target, check some emails, and/or progress more through the story.

Reddit user u/KanikaD, like an angel sent from the beach, had compiled a timely map of all the Memory Chip locations and was kind enough to let me use it. You can find the full map here!

Solved. For 14 you have to keep delivering to the Waystation North of Mountain Knot City until you get the mail "I saw another one of those glowing things..." same goes for 30 with the Paleontologist and the mail "Much respect to porters everywhere! :steamthumbsup:"

I upgraded the level of the first prep to 5 stars and received an email from him about something sparkling in the mountains. It was a memory chip 13.

There's a typo -- this chip should be 49th. There are two 48th chips in your text and reddit's images.
