Thank you as well for this nice conversation i really enjoyed sharing those different ideas on the game with you.
PS: Yes same here huge Plasma Burster grenades fan i sometimes even bring them with a Breach Cutter build which is a bit overkill xd
I get you now. Thanks for a nice conversation. And yes, I can also agree that not reading intro is on the reader.
P.S. I personally really love Plasma Burster nades to the point where I don't bring Breach Cutter just so they have a place in the loadout xd
everything is said in the intro.
I said it before but, in DRG people will have different outcomes using the same build.
There is no objectivity just because something deals more damage or has a faster RoF.
Every weapon is so different and people are so different as well that it's impossible to know which build is 'the best'.
If you want the path of least resistance you are creating a build that fits you in every possible way so that you can easily (with time) tear through the game, and i understand that the fun comes from that.
But then it is YOUR meta not THE meta.
Just because you guys are numerous doesn't mean you're right.
One build is not objectively better than another, but one build is better than another for YOU.
Like i said there are exceptions, but overall one weapon is not strictly better than another
it entirely depends on the player's experience.
For example hope this will make it clearer, i think the Plasma Burster grenade are better than the Proximity Mines, this is my opinion in all its subjectivity.
So what are you going to do? Count numbers and say which is objectively better?
Even though they have very different uses, no that would not make sense to say that one of those grenade isn't meta just because it deals more damage overall or because more people use it or i don't know what other criteria you guys take into account.
There is tho an example of a weapon being worse than others and it is GK2. It is worse than M1K by a mile, while Drak is just GK2 but better in every way.
I don't see how not being robots should prohibit from efficiency. Like I said, there is meta in every single game. There are go-to strategies, builds, paths, items in every game. Even the most relaxing ones, like was my example Stardew Valley. Because many people want the path of least resistance. Many people want to become OP and slap their way through the game. This is what is relaxing and fun for them, including me.
I hope you will get this. But if not, I can only repeat myself from now on.
This is not just a random competitive game where one weapon is objectively better than an other (or in DRG one build) just like i don't consider my builds to be objectively strong or fun
i don't think it works to consider a build objectively 'meta' just because the numbers said so.
We are not robots playing, everyone has a different experience about the game and a different approach to it.
There is no objectively good build in this game, so there is no meta.
