Description

After conquering Mt. Ordeals and passing his trial to become a paladin, Cecil returns to Baron via the now-unsealed Devil's Road. Back in Baron, Cecil finds Yang alive and well after Leviathan's attack but brainwashed by the enemy. After snapping him out of it, the group takes the underground waterway into Baron Castle which is locked down under heavy guard. There, Cecil realizes that the evil king he doubted at the beginning of the game is not the king he once knew, but the second of Golbez's elemental archfiends!
