MAVERICK DC-3 PAX/CARGO Configuration

The Douglas DC-3 is a propeller-driven airliner, which had a lasting effect on the airline industry in the 1930s to 1940s and World War II. It was developed as a larger, improved 14-bed sleeper version of the Douglas DC-2. It is a low-wing metal monoplane with conventional landing gear, powered by two radial piston engines of 1,000–1,200 hp (750–890 kW). (Although most DC-3s flying today use Pratt & Whitney R-1830 Twin Wasp engines, many DC-3s built for civil service originally had the Wright R-1820 Cyclone.) The DC-3 has a cruising speed of 207 mph (333 km/h), a capacity of 21 to 32 passengers or 6,000 lbs (2,700 kg) of cargo, and a range of 1,500 mi (2,400 km), and can operate from short runways.

Description:
This heavily from the DC-3 inspired Aircraft is a twin engine STOL Aircraft in Passenger and Cargo Configuration which should be able to be configured for pretty much all tasks/missions such as SAR, Transport of Troops, Transport of Causalities, normal Passenger, Cargo and Mail Transport and more.

Features:
-2 Maverick C2810 Engines
-Range of 900 KM (Calculated without PAX/CARGO, without fuel loss)
-Fuel Capacity of roughtly 30.000 Liters (4 1/2 Trips to Arctic and Back on full tanks)
-36 Passenger Capacity
-3 Tons Cargo Capacity
-Max Speed of 135 kts (up to 190 kts in certain Conditions)
-2 RPS Levers making tight turns and Reverse Thrust possible
-Emergency Systems (Engine Fire Extingushers, Reserve Battery etc.)
-Maintenance Hatches for easier Repair and Maintenance
-Close to reality Aircraft Lightning System
-Fully automated Fuel Crossfeed and manual Fuel Dump
-Engine Power Crossfeed (Power Sharing)
-Electric Safety Switches
-Lots of Equipment (Fire Extingushers, First aid, etc.)
-Somewhat and Old fashioned high fidelity Flightdeck
-Alt Hold (ft)

-Planned Features:
-Eventually Spoilers
-Eventually Autobrakes
-Co Pilot Controls and Control Switch
-Low Alt Warning, Stal/Low Speedl Warning, Low Fuel Warning
-More Variants (PAX Only, Cargo Only, Floater, SAR, Fire, Military etc.)

NOTAMS (Bugs):
-Clamp Glitch causing weird moves from clamped controlsurfaces and other clamped Stuff.
-very little Roll to one side, use -0.02 Trim to the opposite (left) as Workaround, we are looking for a fix
-Not very precise GPS AP (Note that it only controls yaw atm and doesnt keep the Aircraft level)

-Stargaming1 - Fixing the Roll issue caused by asymetrical RPS/Torque, theres still a bit left which can be trimmed out easly by trimming 0.02 to the opposite side, that Trim is already preset in the Pilot Seats.

Before Takeoff Checklist:
Lights ON as required
-Set Parking Brake ON
-Prop Collective to full Collective
-Flaps to 0.10 or as you wish
-Press 1 and 2 to start both engines
-Release Parking Brake OFF
-Full throttle and gently puill down to raise the Tail then pull gently up to takeoff
(Taking off will also work if just pulling up, just takes longer to Takeoff)

Landing Checklists;
Lights ON as required
-Flaps FULL
-Speed not below 80 kts
-Parking brake ON (Dont worry, it isnt too strong)
-Kiss the Ground like you kiss your... well you know ;)
