Intro
The United States, the "it can do it all" faction, almost. With access to a vast array of equipment, top-tier elite units, and a multitude of tactical options to choose from, by far one of the best factions in the game.

I have updated this guide according to RobZ Mod 1.28.6
Infantry Squads

GENERAL OVERVIEW
There are a lot of options for the USA, but these are probably best in price, you could argue for another squad at a similar price point. American infantry is equipped with everything they need including grenade launchers, machine guns, and high firepower. Their base rifle, the M1 Garand, provides a significantly higher raw amount of bullets downrange than other factions who mostly rely on bolt action rifles. The American infantry favors machine guns, and almost every squad spawns with at least one rifle grenadier.

SQUADS WORTH MENTIONING
Armored Rifle - This is the cheapest squad in the American arsenal, costing 155 MP. It is useful mainly for securing points and doesn't offer much in the way of offensive capabilities. While it has a higher veterancy than other cheap squads compared to other factions, it is not a reliable squad. Also it's almost too expensive to just sacrifice on attacks.

Mechanized Armored Rifle - For 260 MP, this squad offers an M3A1 half-track with a bazooka and a below-average infantry unit, this squad is suitable as a quick reaction force. The infantry themselves are not particularly effective. It is mainly purchased for the vehicle, with the infantry as a secondary benefit.

Combat Engineer - This squad is an unusual but interesting choice, featuring landmines, dynamite, trench-building tools, and a flamethrower. While it is a bit more expensive at 220 MP, it offers unique abilities for those who need to lay landmines or dig some trenches. However, if you only need landmines, it may be more efficient to purchase AP mine layers instead.

US Marines - This squad is one of the most versatile and effective in the American arsenal, costing 215 MP. They have access to dynamite, can dig foxholes/sandbags. They also come with three B.A.R.'s and have decent veterancy, making them effective at combat. Come with lots of grenades and smokes.

Airborne - For 242 MP, the Airborne squad offers a .30 machinegunner (and an ammo bearer), a Springfield sniper, and satchel charges. They have good veterancy and can be relied upon to hold the line. However, they lack anti-tank capabilities, making them less effective against armor.

101st Airborne - This squad is slightly more expensive at 318 MP and offers better veterancy and a bazooka infantry unit. The M9A1 variant of the bazooka is superior to the M1A1 variant and comes with AT ammo as well as white phosphorus ammo. While it may be unnecessary to purchase this squad when the US Marines are already effective, it is a good option for players who want to invest more in their infantry and get some AT out of it as well.

Paramarines - For 251 MP, the Paramarines offer unique rifles and LMG's, including the Johnson LMG, which is lighter and fires faster than other LMG's. They lack anti-tank capabilities but are effective against infantry and have good accuracy.

Devil's Brigade - This squad is unique in that it comes with a radioman, but it's not particularly effective. It is a good choice for players who want a cheap starter squad for the early game, costing only 225 MP.

Mechanized Rangers - At 400 MP, this squad is expensive but comes with an M3A1 half-track and a squad of rangers with two recoiless riflemen. The ranger squad in general has high veterancy, making it effective in combat. The half-track also comes with a bazooka inside of it.

Paradropped 101st Airborne - This is the only paradropped squad that spawns with an AT weapon, making it effective against armor. It costs 418 MP and is the most expensive of the three paradropped squads, but is the most effective for its purpose.

NOTES
America has the option for a veteran tank crew, but it only spawns a single veteran tank crewman instead of a full tank crew.
Specialized Soldiers

PURCHASES TO NOTE
Shotgunners - While shotgunners may not be the most effective units in the game, they offer a unique purchase opportunity. For just 30 MP, you can get 2 of them, but keep in mind that they have no helmets and can be easily overrun with infantry spam. Although their shotguns are deadly at close range, their slow cycle rate limits their ability to kill more than 1-2 enemy infantry before they themselves die.

Ranger Bazooka Infantry - Priced at 150 MP, the Ranger Bazooka Infantry is an average-priced elite anti-tank (AT) infantry unit. However, what sets them apart is the range of their bazooka, which is 80m, making them superior to most other factions' bazooka infantry that have a range of 75m or less (depending on the type of bazooka).

Ranger M18 Recoiless Rifle Infantry - Another unique AT weapon, the Ranger M18 Recoiless Rifle Infantry is also priced at 150 MP. This unit offers a longer range than most other AT infantry with a range of 90m. However, the recoilless rifle is a little less reliable when it comes to penetrating things like side skirts on German tanks. This unit sacrifices some kill ability for the added range, but this usually isn't a significant issue.

101st Airborne M1919A6 MG Team - One of the BEST MG teams you can buy in the game, , maybe even just the best. The veterancy is high for these guys and they're equipped with a .30 cal machinegun and perform very well. They run very slow though because the machinegun is heavy.

Flamethrower Infantry - USA's flamethrower infantry, probably not worth buying because you can get flamethrower infantry in the combat engineer squad, getting more bang for your buck.

M1903A4 Marksman - Not spectacular for a sniper compared to other factions, but it's the USA's only option for a single buy sniper. Performs okay, usually not worth buying as you can get a sniper in the airborne squads.

Radioman - America has access to four different kinds of radiomen, and the more expensive the unit, the bigger the explosion and the more effective it becomes. However, keep in mind that the highest-priced radioman costs 700 MP, the same as a Jumbo tank, which is considered a much better buy. While they are an interesting buy, they may not be worth the cost.
Transport and Procurement

QUICK OVERVIEW
When it comes to this tab, America has more options compared to other factions. One of the most useful purchases is the Willys AT jeep, which has 2 mounted bazookas and I've seen it take out a King Tiger tank. The jeep's small size and speed make it a useful option for rushing and surprising enemy vehicles. Another vehicle to consider is the M2, which is essentially an M3A1 but with two .50 machine guns mounted on each side. However, the M2 is generally not considered to be worth buying due to its limited effectiveness on the battlefield.
Support Equipment

WHAT'S WORTH USING
.30 cal M1919Browning 1917 Tripod - The .30 cal tripod is often underestimated, but it can be surprisingly effective in battle. It costs 130 MP and can usually survive long enough to make back its cost. This makes it a good choice for players looking for a budget-friendly defensive option.

.50 cal M2HB Browning 1917 Tripod - The .50 cal tripod is a highly effective weapon that can penetrate light vehicles and skulls through walls of some buildings. It is a priority target for enemy players and can usually be taken out fairly easily, so good placement is important. It has a higher price tag of 180 MP.

M45 Maxson AA - This thing loves to not die, I've seen this thing take direct hits from big cannon HE shells and survive like it's nothing. It costs 200 MP and if setup in a good position can absolutely devastate enemy infantry. If you're playing against some suicide charger ♥♥♥ spam, use this damn thing, it will send a lot of ♥♥♥♥ to heaven.

M2 60mm Mortar - The M2 60mm mortar has a short range of 245m but a fast fire rate, making it a devastating weapon against infantry, especially early in the game. It costs 220 MP and is worth the investment if you're facing a lot of infantry.

M2 4.2-Inch Mortar - The M2 4.2-Inch Mortar is America's heavy mortar and has a range of 280m. While this range is not exceptional compared to other factions, its large explosion and deadly accuracy can still deal significant damage to enemy troops. It costs 400 MP.

M5 AT Gun - The M5 AT Gun is America's equivalent to the PaK 40 for Germany and the Type 75mm for Japan. It costs 400 MP and is effective against light to medium tanks but struggles against heavier armor.

M8 - The M8 is a versatile vehicle that can be used as a lightweight AT gun or as a mini artillery piece/mortar in indirect fire mode. It costs 320 MP, making it one of the pricier options in this tab, but its versatility can make it worth the investment in the right situations.
Artillery

WHAT IS WHAT
M2A1 L/M2A1 L [Veteran] - This short-range artillery piece is perfect for countering enemy mortars or fortifications, and the veteran version is more accurate. Although America has better options, the M2A1 L is a good choice for people on a budget, costing 495 MP, while the veteran version costs 695 MP.

M114/M114 [Veteran] - The M114 has a similar design to the M2A1 but with a bigger gun and more range. It's easier to hit its targets as it has more explosives. However, it's pricey at 720 MP, and the veteran version costs 1020 MP, so it may not be worth the investment unless it's really needed.

Long Tom/Long Tom [Veteran] - This thing is probably more than you'll ever need but it's a unique artillery piece, it's absolutely massive so makes it an easy target for paratroopers and counter artillery. It costs a lot at 900 MP and the veteran version costing 1200 MP. It's got an absurd amount of range and is fairly accurate. It has a pretty massive explosion so if you're hitting soft targets you don't even really need to be on target.

M115 203mm Howitzer/M115 203mm Howitzer[Veteran] - A very expensive artillery piece, but it hits hard. With its powerful shots, it can take out tanks and other fortified positions in one or two hits if you get lucky. However, the veteran version isn't worth the extra cost, as it's significantly more MP than the base version, which costs 990 MP.

M7 Priest - A good reliable artillery piece that can move quickly and easily out of danger. Costing 765 MP, it's a good choice for dealing with mortars and artillery pieces, as it's difficult to counter arty. It also comes with a defensive .50 to stop instant paradroppers, making it a good option for counter artillery.

155mm Gun Motor Carriage M12 - The 155mm Gun Motor Carriage M12 is similar to the M7 Priest, but with a bigger gun. However, it's slower and a little less accurate, and it costs a little more at 1125 MP. It packs a bunch though, when it hits...it hits.

M4A3 Calliope - Costing 900 MP, this Sherman tank with rockets on top is excellent for clearing entire areas of infantry and support equipment. Although the rockets can't kill any vehicles, direct hits from them can do some damage. Additionally, the M4A3 Calliope doubles as a normal 75mm Sherman tank, making it a versatile option for players who want to mix up their strategy.
Light Support Vehicles

WHAT'S USEFUL
M16 - A highly effective anti-infantry vehicle, equipped with a mobile M45 Maxson gun. With a cost of only 250 MP, it is an affordable and quick response option to deal with enemy infantry spam.

M8 Greyhound - Only 260 MP, it has a 37mm cannon and a .50 cal, making it a fast and effective light vehicle against infantry and some light vehicles. However, its .50 cal gunner is exposed, making it susceptible to enemy fire.

M5A1 Stuart/M24 Chaffee - Two comparable tanks that excel as light tanks. Priced at 300 MP and 320 MP respectively, they are affordable options for their capabilities. The M24 Chaffee has a bigger cannon, which is the same as the 75mm shermans, making it a formidable option in a light tank purchase. However, typically players have access to shermans by the time they can access these tanks, making them more of a late-game purchase when resources are limited.

NOTES
The M20 is the only light tank that spawns with a bazooka inside it that you can take, although the M20 sucks because it will be decrewed by normal infantry just shooting the .50 gunner.
Tank Support

WHAT IS GOOD
M8 Scott - This tank is a great early buy due to its 75mm howitzer cannon, which allows it to indirect fire and become artillery, making it useful even after medium tanks are introduced. Additionally, its projectiles are HEAT, which can even take out some medium tanks. At a price of only 340 MP, it's an excellent value.

All of the 75mm Sherman's - All of the 75mm Sherman's perform similarly, with very slight variations in armor. They all use the same cannon and cost around the same price, ranging from 380 MP to 400 MP. The Sherman is considered one of the most versatile tanks in the game, with its excellent 75mm cannon being effective against both infantry and light to medium tanks. Its armor is also strong enough to deflect a lot of incoming fire, particularly in the 400 MP variant. All Sherman tanks come with white phosphorus shells and the ability to indirect fire. Arguably the most jack-of-all trades medium tank in the game, it's very reliable when it first becomes available and can be spammed. Also using the WP shells you can take out heavy tanks. The M4A3 variant has an interesting mechanic - once you buy one Sherman, if you buy another, you get one free (So buy 2 get 1 free). Also all Sherman's can indirect fire, usually pretty useless, at least it feels useless as it seems the indirect fire explosions are a lot smaller than the normal HE direct fire shot.

M4A1(76)w Sherman - If you need some extra firepower a little earlier than usual you can buy this, not bad, not amazing, can get the job done. It only has RP rounds for its 76mm so it's not as good as later 76mm shermans, also it does not have sequence buys. Usually a 75mm cannon is enough to carry you over to the later 76mm sherman.

M4A3 (105) Sherman - This Sherman is similar to the 75mm variants but with a bigger cannon, making it better suited for indirect fire. However, at a cost of 600 MP, it's generally not worth it and is best used in specific situations.

M4A3R2 Croc - America's flame tank, the Croc is typically bought with special points and costs 600 MP. It's considered one of the most worthwhile flame tanks, with flames that can reach up to 70m and mounted on a regular Sherman, meaning you get all your machine guns and the 75mm cannon.

M4A3E8(76)W Sherman - This tank also has the "buy one, get one free" mechanic and comes equipped with HVAP, making it a little more expensive at 600 MP, but with more potential due to its 76mm cannon. However, it does have a limited range and cannot compete with heavier tanks.

M4A3E2 Jumbo - Probably America's best tank, the Jumbo has extra armor, allowing it to withstand a lot of damage. It also has the 75mm cannon, which can be used to shoot white phosphorous and take out even heavily armored tanks. While it does cost 700 MP, it's definitely worth the price, though its range can be a downside as it struggles to compete with longer-range tanks as the game progresses. It's a fantastic choice to sit in the middle of an area and give coverage and just be a turtle.

M4A3E2(76)W Jumbo - This variant comes equipped with a 76mm cannon for a slightly higher price of 900 MP. It has the same armor and range as the regular Jumbo but with the added firepower of the 76mm cannon. However, its range is still quite limited compared to other tanks in its price range, so some players may opt for tank destroyers instead.

M26 E4 'Super Pershing' - This tank has a hefty price tag of 1800 MP, and it often fails to meet expectations. While it does have a nice 90mm cannon, it can still get one-shot frequently. It does have the benefit of a 250m range, which is unique among American tanks, but most people choose to avoid it and use the lighter tank destroyers instead.

Jumbo Eating Everything Thrown At It:
Tank Destroyers

THESE ARE YOUR HITTERS
76mm GMC M18 'Hellcat' - The M18 Hellcat is a fast tank destroyer with a 76mm cannon that hits harder than the 76mm Shermans. However, it has no armor and a short range of only 200m. It's best suited for flanking maneuvers, but this can be difficult to execute due to its limited ability to take hits. It costs 500 MP, which is a bit high for its limited range and lack of armor.

90mm GMC M36 'Slugger' - The M36 Slugger is a hard-hitting tank destroyer with a 90mm cannon that can one-shot many enemy tanks. It has little armor, but it is 50 MP cheaper than the Jackson Sherman, which is essentially the same tank. The Slugger's range is only 230m, but it compensates for this with its ability to pack a punch. It's also available as a veteran variant from the special point tree, which has a range of 240m. This tank destroyer is a great choice for players who want to focus on dealing high amounts of damage to enemy tanks.
Special Points

NECESSARY BUYS
M4A3R2 Croc - The M4A3R2 Croc is a flame tank that can be purchased from the SP tree for 4 SP, making it a more cost-effective option than spending 600 MP on it. If you like using flame tanks, then this is a good option for you.

M4A3E8(76)W Fury - The M4A3E8(76)W Fury is a veteran 76mm Sherman tank with a range of 220m, good accuracy, good killing power, and okay armor. It can be a great addition to your arsenal in the mid-game when you need extra firepower. However, it costs 7 SP, which is a significant amount of SP.

Medium Tank Platoon - The Medium Tank Platoon is a must-buy for many players as it provides 3 75mm Shermans and 2 76mm Shermans, which can be a game-changer in terms of map control. It costs 10 SP, but the number of tanks you receive makes it worth the investment. If you have teammates playing as America, purchasing this platoon can result in a flood of tanks on the map.

90mm GMC M36 'Slugger' [Veteran] - The 90mm GMC M36 'Slugger' [Veteran] is similar to the regular Slugger, but it's a veteran variant that costs 10 SP. The increased cost is worth it, as the veteran variant provides excellent accuracy and 240m range. It's capable of taking down most tanks reliably, except for the heavy tanks with 250m range that Germany has. You'll need to play defensively or take risky shots to deal with those tanks.
Conclusion
Overall, America is one of the best factions in the game, if not the best, due to their versatility and flexibility in accommodating different playstyles. While they may not have the absolute best units or abilities, they have a solid selection of units and abilities that are capable in most situations. Additionally, they are one of the easiest factions to learn and play, making them a great choice for beginners or those who want to focus on strategy rather than mechanics.

Yeah you're right, it refills with a heavy ammo truck and uses 100 of the ammo, so you get 5 reloads per truck.
Opama 12 Mar, 2022 @ 6:01am
You can refill the radioman ammo you just have to have one round in reserve, if you shot all flares and wanted to give hin more that's no longer possible. i think it uses the special ammo
