Find Control Panel

Choose Windows Defender Firewall
If you can't see it, click on view by (top right corner) and pick Small or Large icons

Proceed to Advanced settings

Choose Outbound Rules and then Create New Rule

Choose Program then Next

Find the Horizon Zero Dawn.EXE under This program path
Usually located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Horizon Zero Dawn
Then choose Next

Choose Block the connection and Next

Apply the rule to Domain, Private and Public profiles then Next

Give a custom name for the rule, and it's over!

just about everyone collects your data in some way. completing stopping data collection is a tireless and fruitless task. at least they don't install root level anti cheat with no way to remove it like some companies. still tho great easy guide to follow and can be applied to all other games not requiring an internet connection
