I don't think I would be able to find solutions for this game even if I wanted, it seems to be a bit too obscure and it's hard to find any kind of information about it hahaha
I forgot to mention I recorded myself finding the "normal" forward solution for the puzzle, and then I reversed the video and mimicked the backwards solution. That part can be considered at least "using a clutch" hehehe

I don't think that it counts as cheating. You're trying to figure things out as though it were a problem on a school exam. I think that it WOULD count as cheating if you were to simply look up the solution to the problem from another source and copy it down. Since we've got the internet, it's quite easy to get into the habit of copying solutions in order to beat puzzle games, so I admire your integrity.
