Hello everyone! Here I am writing this guide in hopes to help anyone frustrated/unconfident in their skills in gouging their eye out shoving a needle into their eye on Chapter 13. The first step is to know your patient!

Here you can see our patient and protagonist Isaac Clarke, he's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy a pretty cool guy. On the screen to the right of his face you can see some very vital information in performing the feat of sticking a needle in your eye. Next to the heart symbol is your heart rate. You may be thinking "But Gnome! This is eye surgery, who gives a ♥♥♥♥ about his heart rate?" That's a good question! The faster Isaac's heart is beating, the more he panics. The more he panics, the faster his eyes move. The faster his eye moves, the sooner it gets ripped to shreds by the machine. The key here is to move the needle in slow, brief steps. watch the heart rate, and make sure the laser is aligned with his eye (and blue) at all times. Secondly, under the heart rate you will see the distance between Isaac's eye and the needle itself. Keep in mind the distance when moving the needle, or you may move it too far while the needle isn't aligned and kill yourself! In the few times I've done this, a safe distance to start using caution with moving the laser and keeping it steady on Isaac's eye is at about 4cm. If you've made it this far, wait for Isaac's heart rate to go down (85 bps and below is good) and just move the needle closer at a slow and steady rate. Keep the needle aligned properly and you should have no problems at all doing this! Unless you sneeze and accidently plunge the needle into Isaac's brain. ♥♥♥♥!



With any luck, you should be able to successfully perform the task of getting the needle inside of Isaac's eye. Congratulations, you can now continue with the game! You should get a sticker.

If, for some reason, you'd like to completely murder yourself, then we'll cover that too. Disregard all rules mentioned in the last part of the guide, thrust the needle at max speed and don't stop for anything!
Congratulations, you've successfully murdered Isaac! Now you get to restart and do it yet again! Good job! Have a sticker!
