Few simple steps
⚫ To FIX blurry textures on Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition just manually update the DLSS.

The game seems to use outdated version, and new ones really do make a difference (at least in my case where I use DLSS on "quality" settings)

⚫ To do it head on to: https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-dlss-dll/

⚫ Download the latest .zip file of the DLSS version, extract it, and copy/paste the .dll file in your Metro Exodus installation folder. In my example its:

D:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition

⚫ Just copy and overwrite the old file, run the game, and enjoy much sharper and better overall look and feel of the game.

Also, a plus and a weird fix and improvement
- Choose your aspect-ratio manually, by not setting it on "Auto" as it is by default. This also improved textures and overall sharpness for me, you can give it a try.

Damn, Christian... bro has long hair and bought an low-tier AMD Product. He's taking L's left and right in life. Jesus.
Don't have any problems with DLSS - People just need to update their Nvidia Experience

ahhh the convenience of AMD, don't need to do nonsense to make the game not blurry using either RSR or FSR.

what @IDFKA said, if you want to fix the blur (they f'd something up in the enhanced edition) a good way is to use DLDSR. DLDSR adds sharpening during the downscaling, you can control the level in the NVIDIA control panel (I think it's reversed for DSR, so 100% = no sharpening, just try it out). Doing so makes the game look *so* much better.

Any particular zone/level/area that looks "blurry"? I've noticed this in most new titles that support DLSS (Cyberpunk, Horizon Zero Dawn, Dying Light 2, Days Gone, etc.).

I have noticed the 'fix' for blurry textures is to "upscale" your desktop resolution via DSR in your Nvidia Control Panel. When you ONLY tune a GAME/app to do DSR but run the game in DX12, you're likely running it in a 'Windowed' or 'Full Screen Windows' environment which is still utilizing the desktop resolution. This would arguably only work in DX11 games that require the "Fullscreen" option.

Anyway, I can tell you that after enabled DSR and playing the above titles @5160x2160 ALL "distant blur", depth-of-field/chromatic aberration blurring is GONE. They all look crystal clear.

Make sure you've got DSR turned on at the DESKTOP level and that your game resolution is using the same upscaled res to get rid of the blur.

Didn't change anything sadly

Yep, it has some strange bluriness inside itself, and this is the only way I found that works and removes big part of it.

this is only a partial fix as ive heard the game (for some fucking reason) just has some bluriness hardcoded in the enhanced edition

@Snipurs, did you check is your aspect-ration manually set to the one suited for your monitor? If the setting is on "Auto" it's bugged up and making game even more blurier.
Snipurs ∆ 2022 年 3 月 13 日 上午 1:34
it made the blurring worse or at least the same for me
