Pray is a pretty underrated card IMO, although certainly there were a handful of ways to win this run (rushdown loop, 2x prostrate 2x inner peace infinite, etc.) The main idea behind Pray+ is we can use Insight to draw back into Pray+ and another Insight, and we do this 3 times to go into Divinity, which gives us 3 energy and refunds the 3 energy spent playing Pray 3 times. Vigilance costs 2, but we get 2 energy from exiting calm.

So overall this deck creates infinite energy & block, and quickly scales Brilliance to godlike damage. However, as you see, it is impossible to combo on the first turn with this deck. The only way to draw the Insights on turn 1 is to play Vigilance + Inner peace, which drains our energy too much to play Pray twice more. If we were offered Holy Water as a boss relic, then we'd be rolling. All this said, the deck essentially trades the turn 1 combo for the ability to hold Insights for fights like Time Eater & the Heart, which is undeniably valuable.
I think the Inner Peace in this deck could be substituted for a third Pray+ and the infinite would still be functional. That would be such a clean deck, lol, just 3 pray+ with brilliance and vigilance..
