You want to visit the rare barns, but don't have a treasure map for the barn? No problem, I'll show you how to visit the barn as often as you want.

Preparation

Open "File Explorer" from taskbar or "This PC" from desktop
Click on "View" in upper taskbar
Set a checkmark to "Hidden Items"

Make backup

Go to this folder:
"C:\Users\<yourname>\AppData\LocalLow\Red Dot Games\Car Mechanic Simulator 2021\Save"
Note: Change <yourname> to the name of your windows account to get to the destination!
Stop! Make a copy of your savegame (that file you see)!

Change file

Open the .cms21-file with Notepad:
-if you use the first profile, open profile0
-if you use the second profile, open profile1 (and so on)
Search for: BarnsAmount
Change the number behind that entry to 99 for example.
Save the textfile and now you have access to 99 barns in the game!

Update 2023

If you use an old savegame, this guide still works, have a look here, I tested it end of January 2023:

BUT the game got many updates and now the new savegames cant be edited, cause file is encrypted. So you cant open and make the changes I told you anymore. Sorry.

Just search the Junkyard for a Barn map.. every time you go to the Junkyard, somewhere is a Barn map. and every Barn has a Box where you can find extra Barn maps, XP and other things :)

They have removed "BarnsAmount" I can't find it anymore

Is this the same save file you edit to get more money/XP levels? Because editing those values does work, did it just few days ago myself. Sure seems it is...

Use an auto clicker and quickly swipe across the cards when opening. This exploits the transition period between you "two" card flips so make sure you DO NOT flip more than 4 with the auto clicker to allow the second allowed flip to register. Otherwise you'll get soft locked and have to restart. i recommend saving between opens until you get the hang it

I checked my savegames now and for me its still written in the profile0.cms21 file like I described it. No raw format, no compression, no hex-editor. dont know why it does not work for som eof you. I was able to change the value of barns right now.

Money is stored around Hex 0x001085E6 with scraps around 0x001085F2 and barns around 0x001085F6 for my save file
