Make Camera View More Isometric
By Whesker
Did you get the feeling that DK2's camera makes the game look flat? Kind of hard to appreciate those sweet 3D models with the camera being mostly top-down. Here's how you can tilt the camera for a more isometric picture.

The "camera tilt" keys are already in the game
Use NUM 7 and NUM 1 or Home and End.

No fuss.

  • No, I don't think a guide is necessary. But this keybind doesn't seem to be pointed out anywhere in the game or community discussions. I also see very few community sceenshots using a lower tilt. The only other place you can change the camera tilt like this is in the editor - to a greater degree I think.

  • Is lowering the camera tactical? Not really. It just adds some depth and makes for better screencaps.

Do enjoy and try not to hurt yourself following my instructions : )

I found this out randomly when I accidentally pressed the num 7 which is my recording shortcut for OBS.

Thanks, I'll just use the OSK but it is a bit of a pain.

@Waltoid You may be able to use Home & End on a laptop by combining your Fn "function" key with one of the directional arrows(if you have them). It really depends on the brand and model of laptop - look at your notebook's user manual. You could also hook up an external keyboard (bluetooth or USB) and use the Home & End keys on that.

Playing on a lap without these controls. My cat walked on the keys though and changed it but I'm not sure what they hit.
