Having difficulties with heroic boss fights? no worries, this guide will make your life a whole lot easier.

At any point, if you want to watch the build in action:

Lets get to the point then.

First and foremost - make sure you at a respectable level, I'd say anything above 120 will be enough to handle every boss in the game.
You can also grind a heroic boss that grants a lot of essence to level up after you familiarized yourself with it.

If one of your classes isn't the soldier, then either stop reading or reroll.
You want the first row of skills to make this work.
The 2nd skill in the 2nd row is optional if you're confident you're not going to get hit or if you play a high NG+ and get taken out in 1-2 hits anyway.

4. 4th skill doesn't matter. You can play around with it depending on the fight.
A good option however can be "Time Wrap" - it resets all of your skills cooldowns and can be found directly under the Origa boss room close to the left exit.

High STR with respectable amount of endurance.
I was completely fine with 150 STR and 15 END, but you go with what makes you feel comfortable.

Congratulations, you're a killer tank.

So how does this work? with the introduction of perfect block feature, parry have become obsolete when the superior "Perfect Block Haste" became live.
As the soldier, all you gotta do now is time your blocks to instantly refresh the Heroic Lunge skill.

Now that your tortoise shell is S rank thanks to the "Safeguard" skill, then you can tank hits better, and EVEN if your guard breaks then "Steadfast" skill will make you recover very quickly.
Tanking hits and messing up perfect blocks is now as easy as it gets.

So you can block attacks from both directions with ease, and keep using Heroic Lunge.
What makes Heroic Lunge so good is that it provides you A LOT of i-frames during the jump animation, and covers A LOT of area when landing, both vertical AND horizontal.
With a cooldown of only 10s and instant recharge whenever you kill ANYTHING, yes even an orb or an icicle shard - it truly is the BEST offensive skill in the game.

* Important to note that you can also take advantage of the under 20% HP to deal DOUBLE damage with Heroic Lunge with the soldier's passive skill "Heroic Lunge Mastery".

Add to the mix Fortitude skill that grants you a whooping 4s of godmode (put it in 3rd slot for quicker CD - passive in top row of general skill tree).

I advise to upgrade your weapons with Amulvaro's Heroic drops.
He'll give you +11 of your equipped weapons when beaten. I recommend the Crystalline (Craft at Alistair) and Cauterizing (Observatory / Garde Tum big golem drops) Swords.
The latter will prove useful against some bosses that cover the floor with flames, by not only stopping them - but also giving you an attack buff.
